When you don't persuade Sage on a route in EP 8 the MC's deal with her is different from the other episodes

She in the previous episodes only wanted to fuck with him despite his continuous rejection but in this one she never seeks to fuck with him and I notice that her attitude towards him and the MC towards her seems more fraternal than romantic

You are totally right. People can't see and try to make excuses to not see what is right in front of their eyes. I get it, DPC started writing this game 3 years ago. When we think about it. Many things in real life have changed over these 3 past years while in the game, not many thing changed. It is the downside of playing a game where ever 1 hour update happens every 6-8 8 months. If we try to compare the game with real life, in both cases, people wouldn't give a fuck about their relationship other than their parents, as it seems to be the case in the story. And maybe depending on which city they live in if people are conservatives. Either way, being in the college, they could be pretty much open about their relationship and no one would care. Her father sent her there, being a control freak without knowing anything that happens on the surroundings. Maya being a feminist but at the same time thinking that MC best behavior is paying for their meal, without offering paying half of it.

People want us to play this game without pointing out some flaws to the story or even if we accept the flaws of the story, without pointing out the character flaws of some LIs. They feel offended by it and wants to deffend it at any cost.

you're right: the contrast is there, but in my opinion it's mainly due to the fact that a porn game is not very suitable to talk about a "serious" theme

And again. That is why I love the "others" Characters. DPC didn't put much effort writing about them and that is why I love them the most. Maybe if he did, they wouldn't be as perfect as they are right now . Also. I feel for Sage. I made a gameplay trying to avoid Sage, but I had to let her give me a handjob and cum on her breats so I could Sleep at HOTs when I leave the Dorm. After staying with Sage, I chose NOT to fuck her after the movie night. I didn't put my hand in her panties. Then On EP 7 when I talk to sage at the HOT's party (Forced to), the game forced me to fuck her outside even if I didn't want to, because I didn't want Quinn to find out about me and Sage. And on EP 8. Sage complains with my MC for trying to date her when she didn't want to, and now that she accepted to date him, but take things slow, he tells her he doesn't want to be with her anymore.
