No, you are wrong. Quinn doesn't know that Maya needs money because it's never stated or hinted at anywhere. Her joining the HOTs for the tuition, even if Quinn suspects that this is Maya's primary reason which again is not known, would also not be evidence of that either because Josy was also going to go for it even though her tuition is covered.

Quinn is the VP, a position of authority in the HOTs, and so if she doesn't deny the rumours and very clearly proposes an offer in front of 3 HOTs and 2 pledges, it's easy to feel like this is legitimate.

As I've said, a reasonable assumption could be made that there's a scholarship programme within the HOTs, possibly for charity work, that isn't publically known in order to prevent them from being inundated with girls wanting to join them. It could be a reward-based merit system that they can apply for once they've joined.

I suspect it depends on how you play the game. These screenshots are from my current playthrough. I'm a massive DIK and one of the regulars at Quinn's "restaurant". I don't remember how the scene plays out in other cases, though. One of the many strengths of this game is that many scenes play out in different ways, depending on the type of protagonist the player is roleplaying. There are a lot of variables at play.

And what do you think she asks to the 8-ball? Why do you think she cuddles with MC when she's asleep and she knows he's not going to remember it? She knows that kind of sugarcoated life is not for her. Yes, it's a chimera for her, she knows that probably she'll be alone forever, never really trusting someone, but she would like to have an easier life and to be able to trust. That's why she hates the people that have that kind of life, like Jill's friends when she seesthem kissing and holding hands in the scene of the bank in the park with MC, or Jill and MC, if MC is in Jill's path. She's envious at some level. She hates it because she knows its something she can't have because of her "obligations" and the kind of life she's born into, and I suppose, at some level, she has chosen. But it doesn't mean she doesn't want love, at some level. Quinn is a pretender. She pretends that she's always in control, but she's not, she pretends she's a normal sorority sister and student, but she's not, and she pretends that she doesn't want or need others people love and support, but she does.
