If anything, I want to say to the Quinn fans. I don't hate your favorite waifu. Damn it, I like her character - complex and controversial.
But to whitewash her behavior, to turn a blind eye to the fact that she has committed many bad deeds is somehow strange. It is also strange to protect her by humiliating other girls in an attempt to make Quinn look better. This looks childish.

What would a good line of defense for Quinn look like:
"Quinn grew up in a highly hostile and toxic environment among drug thugs. She didn't have a normal childhood. Her father gave her terrible life lessons:
"Trust no one but your dad. Keep everyone else at arm's length".
What normal parent would give such advice? Quinn grew up socially aloof, with obvious signs of a sociopath. Growing up in a street gang, she does not recognize the normal foundations of society.
It is also possible that Quinn was physically and mentally abused. As a result, she considers any manifestations of love, friendship and normal social relations as a weakness. She mocks people to look cooler so that no one can see her broken and wounded soul.
Maybe it can be cured if you put her in a normal environment where she gets good treatment. So I see Quinn's redemption path as possible."

Written in an extremely simplistic way, because it takes more than a page of text to describe Quinn's psychology. But the direction is like this.
I wrote reviews like this shortly after I got here and what's interesting is people liked to discuss them, put forward counter-arguments and no one caught cringe.
imagine her with a tampon of vodka up her ass this should help her gain the leniency of the court  :ROFLMAO:

Rio will bang you in chapter 7 if you are on chick path. Will also jump you during the helloween party. Just did a solo chick others run and she also had her wanna talk more about relationships dialogue at the end of the party. It seems you might still be able to get her later on.

Giving her money in EP 5 is the key to opening a 'route' with her

You raised an interesting point. I had already noticed that Quinn's fans seem to feel embarrassed for liking her and I don't understand why. They're always making excuses and creating a real 4D chess game to make Quinn look likeable, but there's no need for that in my opinion.

What's wrong with admitting that Quinn is a fucked up, bitchy character who only thinks about herself? Some guys feel the need to defend their favorite girls like their lives depend on it and that doesn't just apply to Quinn, but to any girl in the game.

I don't think any less of you guys if you guys like a stoner with a reputation for dick-sucking, or if you like a stripper single mother or better yet if you have a thing for goblin princesses.

this is all i really have to say about this topic: all of the stuff you posted doesnt really matter to me much.

Quinn is one of the most interesting characters in the game and her path feels like it respects the time required to put into it. This game is filled with stalling plotlines and boring junk like Maya's never ending tuition and cringey junk like Tybalt's blackmail with JIll.

While Quinn being a drug dealer and running a brothel is ludicrous, its more interesting on its face than those other lame plotlines AND it leads to actual gameplay moments as you can build relationships with the other HOTS through the restaurant. I have no interest in personally defending Quinn as a person, but as a character in this game and story she seems like she is integrated the best into a forward moving narrative that connects with worthwhile gameplay choices

Well, in fact, there is no need to invent something in order for Quinn to look likeable. She's already pretty damn likeable. The thing is different, they say here that she has committed a many bad deeds. But I just can't agree with that. Well, maybe she did a little, just a little, not the best things. OK, maybe. But "many bad deeds" is real an exaggeration.

Well you have to remember the boring tuition thing you talking about stems from the Quinn's brothel plotline they are one and the same. The one will not exist without the other. Nothing forward moving about either of them. They are both dragging on.

Some users in the matter of protecting their virtual girlfriend reach Lovecraftian madness. I never understood it. They are ready to turn the thread into a dump in order to protect their waifu, and in the dirtiest way. What do I do if I see my favorite characters run over? I'll make a funny meme about the authors and that's it.

I agree with what you wrote. Good line. Quinn is one of the most interesting characters and she is quite high in my rating, her storyline draws to the screen. My appeal was addressed rather to the inadequate part of her simps, who are ready to start a war with the whole thread for the sake of their chosen one, because they cannot come up with normal arguments about why she is good. As SaynotoNTR noted, they seem to be embarrassed by their choice.

eh...im not putting much stock into how interconnected those things are until DPC actually does something with it. and Quinn's restaurant leads to player decisions, where Maya's tuition leads absolutely nowhere so far.

IMO right now they are tangentially related at best, and it was mainly used as a way to force Maya's hand into riding MC leading up to the CUMpetition. Neither MC, Maya, Quinn, or any of the HOTS seem to care about the restaurant being related to free tuition anymore. Mona disappeared from the game and nothing has come of it since. been years IRL with no consequences, so there "relatedness" doesnt mean much to me currently

also i dont believe for a second that Maya's never ending tuition wouldnt still be in the game even if Quinn was reworked or omitted. that lame plotline has for some reason been made the lynch pin of the main narrative and there is no way its not always there by default

Why are we pretending that we like Quinn only for her character work and not because she has one of the hottest lewd scenes in the game? :cautious: #2 scene in ep9 after Maya&Josy don't @ me
