This is the thing though, she is still interested in him, especially if you successfully helped her perform for the recital. I have a feeling that sometime in the future, we will have the chance to romance her regardless of the MC's affinity.
I also don't like how joking with Bella actually makes her dislike you, even though this silly vs serious dynamic is pretty fun to watch.

but the thing is, look at Josy and Maya, the famous library scene happened in episode 4, since then if you are not on their path, literally nothing happened in the last 5 episodes, and we are about to reach episode 10, how many remain , may be 6 at best?!
one of the path is filled with content, progression, the other one will not have enough time to catch up with the other path. Unless DPC dedicate an Interlude to every single love interest, there is no way, that lets say, a solo Maya path, that might start in episode 12 or 13, will have as much of meaning as someone who started since the begining and folowed up with the Threesome path, for example.
and the affinity also obviously has to play a role.
the only way a more expanded storyline would work, if its goes beyond 20 episode, and contain a full 3 year experience of MC's life in the college.
Then I could see, Jill second guessing herself. But she should have shown interest in MC in episode 10, but if you not on her path, she barely speak to you, you have your bench scene, "lets stay as friends " and thats it.

There is limited content with M+J, definitely not zero content if you reject them(or vice versa). There are several scenes where you still get to build a relationship with them hinting at a possible resurgence of romantic interest regardless of your path and your choice in episode 8. Hell, every LI, with the exception of Bella, still has a debatably significant amount of active content even when not on their path. Well, as an expert of Josy/Maya path , I hold my stance of "literally nothing happens ". but if you prefer "significantly limited content", fine by me. Its true, In the end even if you not spend extra time wiht Josy she indeed ask you in episode 9 whter you thikn of what could have been or not , that is indeed more than what Maya offer, which is nothing, but as I said, you have deepr connection wiht them if you are on their path , so if lets say they break up in episode 11,
and suddenly you get the chance to romance one of them, you won't be in the same place as if you were part of their relationship, that way my point.
as for Jill, by not being on her path, I meant that you are automatically off from her path, in episode 7 if you have Dik affinity,
because she looked at the Moon, as felt that somehow something is off with you, despite that Tybalt literally blackmailing her on the other and, but somehow the Dik Affinity MC is off putting for her
.Regardless, by the end of episode 8, Jill won't be available as a choice, meaning you off form her path, but you still get the bench scen, where as I said, "lets stay as friends"

MC can still kiss Josy at the HOT party and can take a picture with her and tell her you think about what could had been at the Halloween so yes limited content but maybe a way to jump on the Josy train the hard way
