Didn't mention Quinn because I was just talking about the main girls who are unaware of the restaurant and how they will react to it.Honestly, the most explosive reaction will probably be Quinn; no way she will be doing great if, or should I say when, it gets out. As unhinged as she has been so far, I can see the lid coming right off when she loses all her precious control.
Sage will be explosive no doubt, but I feel she and Maya will probably react along the same narrative lines, just on different sides. Maya will see it as this cliff she was almost pushed towards while Sage will realize she's like Wile E. Coyote with nothing but empty air to stand on and all it took for her to fall is to realize it. The cliff is the line, for clarity's sake.
Thinking about it, I wonder if Derek uses the services. We get no scene showing that but we can't assume we've been shown everything he's been doing just because it's possible to become his best friend. If he has been it might add a bit of drama to Maya's storyline, assuming her loan gets handled before any prostitution revelation. "Forever and ever" may just become a lot shorter. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
As for Derek I think it's unlikely he uses it, simply because of his terrible attempt to pull Cam. Admittedly he might only use it through the glory holes and not know that he's already had sexual relations with Cam. But if that's the case then depending on how he found out about the restaurant (may have been one of the DIKs we know use it like Rusty or Jamie rather then Quinn) then he could have plausible deniability that he didn't know who was the other side of the glory holes and didn't know that Quinn was behind it all.
But Maya has not done a good job of conveying the severity of the situation to other people, yes she told Sage the whole story, but then when it came to the private meeting with Burke she gave him very little detail and told him nothing that would make him want to help her more than she's her daughter's friend, so it's unlikely that she's told Jill the whole story and she has sworn Josy to secrecy about it so she can't tell Jill the whole story, so if Jill doesn't know the whole story then the lawyer doesn't either. Therefore they don't know the urgency of the situation so it's unlike the lawyer would make special plans to help Maya out of their normal working hours.if it is urgent for Maya, then it is urgent, MC knows the problem, Josy (who is very close to Jill) knows everything, even Sage should know almost everything, if Jill is kept in the dark when at this moment she represents Maya's only chance it is part of those choices acceptable for plot but not for realism.
but then it's not that the lawyer has to solve the problem immediately, but at least be made aware of it
