I don't know why that would make anyone dislike Zoey more, that was just the MC having a moment of insecurity and a twinge of jealousy. It's not Zoey's fault, and no matter what she shuts Jacob down when he makes a move, she isn't interested in him at all. So I don't know exactly what Zoey did wrong there, and what happened at the tail end of the party shows how much she still cares about the MC, she's still crazy about him.

Little grasshopper, look at all the hate Josy has suffered in episode 10 for trying to seduce the MC. Players, for the most part, don't like it when characters in the game try to ruin their relationships with the girls they choose. If the MC chose to have a romantic relationship with someone in episode 8, Zoey's presence in the plot becomes a threat for several reasons.
She can try to steal the MC back, she can make the MC question his current relationship, she can make scenes like this where the MC 'feels something in his stomach' about thinking Jacob with Zoey happen regardless of the player's wishes. Do you really think that someone who spent 8 episodes focusing on a romance with a girl will be happy to have a threat (or possible threat) like Zoey in the plot?

Its a talent he has. I'm not sure what his intentions for the character were but everything he gave us so far regarding Zoey has made me hate her with a passion. She basically overtook Jill as my least favorite character in the game. The "Interlude" is a masterclass on how to introduce a character you want people to hate. I want that her out of my MC's life. I want to treat her like shit and abandon her like she did the MC for some poetic justice.
The only one I feel sorry for is Jacob if he ends up with her. Homie deserves so much better.

None of this is Zoey's actual doing, it's simply the snowflake MC having his usual snowflake moments
TBF, Zoey asked the MC to follow her but DPC made him stayed (with good reasons though). Zoey isn't a bad person trying to find herself, but the MC isn't either for finding someone new. They were two youngsters who didn't fully understand the depth of their relationships and made rash decisions. Zoey for going silent on MC, and MC for automatically assuming Zoey hook up with a new person due to a social post made by someone else. It was why he got mad and turned off his old sim card.
I don't blame Zoey for trying to get back what she loss, but looks like it is up to the players/DPC whether or not MC and Zoey will reconciled. Btw, I am team Maya/Josey, so gl to Zoey fans.
