I don't think anyone's ignorant about her, there's just two problems with her.
1) she's dead
2) she's MC's mom. So people have a problem with that. And those who don't, usually make it known.
3) Actually make it three problems, we know she and Neil have sex at least once. So not everyone wants to see that

Bella still feels married but still that feels like a odd reaction to something Jill did in her sleep, I think it would have to be something more then that unless it started out as Jill sleep humping her but Bella woke Jill up and it turn it to something more then it would make sense to me

honestly the best looking character models are both dead the MC mom and Jill's sister. Nicole isn't far behind on the same level as them in terms of looks at least to me.

I guess I never saw it as that at all when it comes to the diary. For me when the diary comes up I just imagine it's the MC reading it but the flashbacks aren't his thought or imagination but just a flashback in general
