I wrote that Josy, Maya, Jill, Isabella and Sage probably won't be at the DIK Panty Party. The reasons are obvious. Josy and Maya don't want to walk around half-naked in front of their brothers.
Maybe you missed the previews of Josy and Maya in the kinky fetish gear, but pretty sure this is going to be their outfits for the panty party. Also, Sage had no trouble dressing up in very little clothing that showed off a lot of her body for the Halloween party and she also sunbathed topless in Ep 1, so I think she'll be perfectly fine going to this panty party.

Bella and Jill are the ones probably not going though, Bella for the obvious reason she can't hide her face this time and Jill already showed her hesitancy when it was mentioned to her in Ep 10, but also because I reckon their chalet getaway will be a large enough event as to make their absence not a problem for players on those paths.

The five LIs are having their own party. The MC will be at the DIK Panty Party first and then have to make a decision, just like in EP4. If the MC stays at the DIK Party, he can talk to Josy and Maya or he can go to Jade. The same thing awaits us in EP11. If the MC stays at the DIK Panty Party, he will mess things up with the LIs, but he can fool around with the many "Other Girls". Or we can decide to drive to Isabella in Rusty's car and be with all the LIs, but that will exclude many "Other Girls".
There's no way we plan the party and leave it later on, especially to go and have a different party with all the MGs. What we more likely get is leaving at the end once we get the party completion scene for a lewd scene with his chosen MG(s), i.e. going to back to Maya's dorm with J&M (who will have been at the party) and have a threesome, going to see Jill at the Prep mansion, etc.

That preview could be one of 2 things:
  1. Happening the night of Thanksgiving as either celebrating getting the papers or a means of lifting spirits after they failed to get them (yes, I know there's Christmas cushions, but maybe Bella brought them and some decorations out early as a means of distracting the girls from worrying about what was happening at the dinner)
  2. It's just a get-together that the MGs have with the MC later on in the episode that isn't happening at the same time as the panty party but could maybe be their own mini one before or some time after it.

Still wouldn't work. The fire fighter guy had scholarships and grants. Maya isn't getting any of those because being modern era damsel in distress disqualifies her.
I was making fun at this, guy suggested a solution to the problem by giving an example... a particular case from his life, which doesn't fit the situation at all.

Although Maya can ask DEI hire in the fire department :KEK:

I know. The example was ludicrous and he still added that there were scholarships. Scholarships are the most obvious way to pay for your studies and Maya isn't allowed any for story purposes.

99% I agree that he will try and finish the game and it will be his magnum opus. But the 1% is if he was so sicked that he cannot complete the game and the only option to compete it is sell the rights.

Damned I just remember Palmer may he rest in peace
Maybe he'd never ever sell the rights, he would rather let the game die with him :HideThePain:
Not at the end of It yet but the Quinn route has completely changed my mind about her, she's not going to make things easy I don't think but she Is kind of cute when trying to open up. I feel like she really has tried to open up, got a little laugh when I read this but It does seem like a sincere attempt to let MC know she's trying.

If this forum dont want to apply the "abandoned" tag for games that take more than a year to release an update they should have at least a tag that is something like "extremely slow progress" lol

He sure does :KEK:
You are partly right with that statement. But when you consider that Maya and Josy have already thrown parties with their brothers, that negates your statement because this is a DIK Panty party and not a normal party.
If Maya and Josy wore slutty outfits on Halloween, would Tommy and Derek deny them entry? (The answer is no).

I'll happily eat my words if I'm proven wrong, but just because it's a panty party doesn't really mean much. Your argument really boils down to "Tommy would bitch and moan because Josy is in her undies, like every other person at the party, so the throuple should be sensitive to that."

Talking to Americans about student loans, I understand that it shouldn't work like it does in the game, but this can be ignored, since it is a fictional work and we can assume that in the game it works this way.
Here's how it works for us: pay while you study, or leave.

I am 1000% confident they will be at the party, mainly because I'm pretty sure we've seen their outfits.

That's where I disagree, those won't be their outfits at the panty party. That's just for anal sex.
I mean, they could be other outfits they also picked up for some kinky fun in a different scene, but either way, they'll be at the party I'm sure. I mean, their outfits at the Halloween party were fairly skimpy, flashing their undies and whatnot, and Maya's worn plenty of revealing outfits going to class, so this party shouldn't be too much of a stretch for them. Neither of them are that prudish, really.

It could be that DPC considers a main girl to be any girl that has the chance to appear in every chapter from beginning to end.
Obviously there are some others that appear later, some who don't appear in any chapter and some who might not make it to the end.
Told you already. Main girls get those end of episode reports and their own path at ep 8. Sage is a main girl, Jill is a main girl, Isabella is a main girl, Maya is 80% main girl and Josy is 20% main girl. No one else counts. Doesn't mean you can't be interested in their story or be their fan. They just aren't main girls.
Maya, Josy, Bella, Jill, and Sage. That's who it's always been and who DPC has officially designated so.
Well... Mine was somewhat a rhetorical question. Of course, de jure or officially, a girl is a main girl if Mr. DPC says so. I was just calling attention to the fact that, de facto, the only difference between Quinn and the official main girls is this DPC's fiat. If this was a TV show, she would undeniably be part of the main cast. But not only that. Since it's a dating sim/romance AVN, she has lot of romance time, sex scenes, and plot importance. I doubt that, if there wasn't the banner, Mr. DPC declaration about who the MGs are, and the report at the end of each chapter, one could tell she's not a main girl. The other side girls (some, for me, unfortunately) don't come even closer to her in importance and screen time. I think the closest one is Lily, with this rolling thing, but she's far far away -- it's only "the closest" when compared to the others. Some side girls you can't even picture their personality, but, in Quinn's case, you have a clear picture -- no wonder many love her and many hate her. As for the others, take Camila, for instance. I doubt anyone can hate her except for some irrational antipathy; on the other hand, though I like her, there aren't many reasons except she's hot, pretty, an amazing fuck, and a nice girl. One could say it's enough, but people have been bashing Josy since the last update or so for being just like that. It's just that people see Camila only as a side girl and only expect that from her, while, since Josy is a main girl, people expect her to be a more well-rounded character. People can't complain this about Quinn: it's all there -- either to love or hate.

What Quinn is is a main anagtonist (official term used by DPC). She gets given more importance and is seen more than other SGs because her story and what she's doing is a driving force of the main antagonistic plot going on in the background that will eventually come to a head later and get the MC and others involved in the mess. But, just like other SGs, if not involved with her, you the player and the MC barely interact with her nor do you know much of what's going on with her, so she's still not like a MG in that sense since MGs are practically ever present with the MC even when not on their paths and she is not.
Well, this is odd... Because Mr. DPC can define who are the main girls, but he can't define what an antagonist is, and Quinn didn't show traces of antagonism except in the first episode. An antagonist must be an obstacle in the protagonist's pursuit of his (or her, since, I'm talking in general terms and not only in BaDIK's case) goal or objective. Moreover, the antagonist, unless it's a beast or a force of nature, must be consciously and actively opposing the protagonist. Quinn was merely an annoyance or a brat in a scheme that, in fact, wasn't her plan only but involved the whole of the DIKs. The first problem in BaDIK's case is: what's the goal? what's the objective? But even we ignore that, what MC's goal or purpose or objective Quinn consciously and actively opposed? The answer is none. Just for having the restaurant isn't enough or make her an antagonist if she doesn't oppose the protagonist. There are no antagonists by accident. Unless she's scheming against the protagonist behind his back, and it will be revealed later, if Mr. DPC declared her to be a main antagonist, he doesn't know what an antagonist is. No wonder we can barely detect what the main plot it (and, if there's one, we're still in the story introduction).

Been searching for sancho mod, but can't find it. But using URM now so I guess its okay now

This is latest Sancho Mod for BaD. But, honestly, I don't suggest you to use it, since Sancho1969's latest activity on F95 dates back to 2024 June 26... Sure: Sancho provides a save fixer, but if DPC implements some anti-mod check... the save fixer might cease to work, and there's not Sancho to update it or his mod.

Yes, she'd be part of the main cast and here she is too, but she's a main cast member whose actions are, behind the scenes and under the surface, driving the story towards some very serious drama that will, eventually, impact and come into conflict with the MC, his way of life, and people close to him. You can somewhat romance her too, yes, but to me this is because it's an AVN. Plenty of games out there where you fuck and romance the "bad girls" because, at the end of the day, AVNs let you fuck anything that moves even if there's no ending with them. It's also probably part of a redemptive arc for her too later on.

Antagonists don't always have to be in direct conflict against the protag and actively working against them in nefarious ways, they can simply be the character that creates the circumstances for conflict that will eventually ensare the protag because their bad actions bring this about such that the protag will have to face and deal with it. So in that regard, Quinn is very much a major driving force in bringing antagonistic situations into the MC's sphere that he will undoubtedly get roped into and have to deal with, even if he's not been involved with Quinn because these things will affect people close to him, and as an oftentimes selfless and driven MC when it comes to his friends, this will likely be his motivation to get involved.

No wonder we can barely detect what the main plot it (and, if there's one, we're still in the story introduction).
Overall I'd say the game is mostly a slice of life dating sim of sorts, but one that also has a lot teen dramedy to it as well. The main plot/drama in my mind is this slowly building danger where it comes to the schemes of Quinn causing problems and issues for those the MC is close to and the college at large. It's like a "hero's call to action" type deal where these dangers will need to be dealt with and ended before they ruin and cause more problems to the lives of others, and the MC along with other principle cast members will be the ones to do it. Much like TV shows that do the same thing, building up villainous threats in the background while most of the time, the main cast are unaware and unknowingly moving towards an inevitable conflct whilst also developing themselves and connections in ways that will be beneficial to that goal of putting these threats to an end.
