Of course, there's always a chance that DPC will want to cross expectations like these instead just for the sake of it.Apart from what others have mentioned, I think DPC have some special kind of schedule about release plans so despite what he's repeating over and over about 24x7 rendering it might not be actually a bottlenecking. I mean, even if he does 24x7 rendering there's always bad ones, discarded for other reason, sometimes he might reuse more instead etc etc, it's just a part of the process, basically.
I'm fairly certain this will only cover the 1st year of college for the MC. Any time jumps would just be to other parts of this year, until we get the endings which probably summarise the next few years of college and perhaps afterwards too.
Reading this, I would really prefer the mansion rebuilding to be a side thing through seasons. The way they addressed the issue make it sounds like it not going to be easy and an one season thing.
Depends on how long the episodes cover. EP 5 covered a day and change I cant remember the rest but you do the math 5 episodes = 2 weeks so by that standard without time jumps we are looking at what a couple of months (if that game time) for the whole game?
This is definitely a very bad thing to say, but I feel like the "mom died in childbirth" is used by the MC to always get insta good points with all the LI's as they always feel very sad for him and just wanna take care of him
If DPC keeps the ingame pace of 2 weeks per season, he may need 25+ seasons to cover year 1 of college.
Time jumps, to me, seem inevitable but one thing we can surely agree on is that the events portrayed in the game must take place over the course of a single year due to the fact that Jill and Sage are college seniors and will leave B&R at the end of the year.
I guess. Year 2 and 3 should be less focused upon partying and such, more studying, so having portray mc studying all the time in those two periods is probably something they'd want to avoid

I don't think it's cheap way to get sympathy. The loss of a parent would have a huge impact on someone as far as who they are. I know most of the times he's told people have been in response to others questioning his upbringing or asking/doing something motherly or about his mother/parents. He's not (imo) using it as a sympathy ploy
Even if he isn't using it to get some points with people, that's what is happening.

Well that's because most people have empathy and would feel bad for someone living/having lost a parent. Having sympathy for someone and the MC trying to manipulate someone into feeling sympathy for him are 2 different things.
