Maya now has the chance to make her own decisions and we're already seeing her do that with regards to joining the HOTs in the belief that she can get tuition and not have to rely on her Dad, and on deciding to keep things casual with the MC and Josy while they figure things, so she's showing signs of change already and hopefully she'll continue to improve.

HOT's free tuition would be a mirage, and for a girl with a lot of trouble in managing an uninhibited sexuality, expecially a dick.., it would be a very hard route. she has to cheat like never before it seems to me more a desperate choice than a reasoned decision

I agree that Jill does seem very strong as a person but I think alot of that is because she doesn't seem to have any kind of drama or baggage compared to the other LIs but I would be surprrised if that doesn't change further into the story.

Or she’s the other side of her “baggage”. Her being bullied in the past is a heavily referenced thing. It influences her behaviour with the MC and she stands up for him. “Does what she wished people did for her” when she reports Chad.

Now she’s organising charity stuff and campaigns for anti-bullying initiatives. I doubt she’s entirely “over” being bullied but it’s a nice change of pace that her emotional baggage is something she’s overcome rather than something she’s held back by.

I agree something will come up in the future though. I think she will have an emotional guy punch at some point but as it stands she’s relatively stable at the moment.

Personally i want less flashbacks.
There's ocassions where it useful but should be used very sparingly, otherwise it'll distract from current time.

I don't mind the flashbacks if it actually serves a purpose as far as the story goes. However, a flashback just to enlighten us about a characters past that could be shared just as easily with a conversation? Waste of time and resources, granted it's not my time/resources. However we can't interact with anything/anyone and it doesn't advance the story so it really is just a waste IMO.

True. I forgot about her anti-bullying stuff she's my favorite out of all the main LIs because she seems to be the most normal and drama free out of everyone. She also seems to be DPCs favorite as well so I'm hoping any of the possible drama approaching isn't to bad and doesn't involve something like a house fire.

The only characters that really need flashbacks are in my opinion are Bella and Quinn. Though I agree that its kind of a waste of time otherwise.

I don't think any violence will come into play with the bullying side of it from way back in ep3 I think it was brought up on here that Jill suffered a stutter and that's the reason why she was bullied but rich kids can make the worst kind of bullies so she could have just been a target for them.

It was a user that pointed it out a while back or it could have just been DPC writing but the user suggested that she shows signs of a stutter it's not as prominent but it's one of the ideas that stretched back to ep2-3

Depends on what she knows about Bella's relationship with her husband and about what happened to cause the separation. She could still be totally opposed to infidelity regardless of that, but it could also be like Megan in AL; she's hurt by it, but also understanding.

Thats the problem though we don't know anything about her husband or how that stuff went down. Do we even know if they are actually separated? or if he is just away somewhere I mean Bella still wears her wedding ring doesn't she we know she at least still cares about her husband but is lonely and sexually frustrated hence her fooling around with the MC. True, we don't know what the circumstances were, but we do know that Bella has "forgiven" him for something and was wanting him to come home, so whatever happened would appear to be his fault. If this is the case, I'd imagine Jill would side with Bella and might not think too badly of her seeking comfort in the arms of another man.

Of course, that "other man" being the MC is where the problems would arise as, like I said, she could go the Megan route of feeling hurt that her best friend and the guy she likes have been getting on but also recognise the positive change in Bella as a result of it and be somewhat accepting of it, or she'll be completely devastated by it and it will ruin her friendship with Bella and end the relationship with the MC. I'm hoping for the former, but that would mean DPC re-hashing a character dynamic from their previous game and I'm not super confident they'll do that.

Also, an interesting thing to note is that Bella isn't wearing her ring after the sauna scene. Could this be a sign that she's finally moving on?
