Themes are an entire college course so it won't take you a few minutes. Be patient. Here's something brief to get you started.

While I appreciate the only
slightly condescending tone, it shouldn't take a college course to define two terms and Quora is about two steps below Wikipedia as far as credibility and usefulness. The thing is... we're not even
really talking about 'dark' or 'heavy'
themes as much as whether a singular event in a work is 'dark' or 'heavy' so I'm not 100% sure that all of this is even relevant.
I'm pretty sure I understand conceptually what you're getting at as far as a difference when it comes to
entire works and general theme; i.e.
Justice League is dark, but not heavy... whereas
Saving Private Ryan is heavy, but not dark. Again though, how does this apply to a singular event, since that's what sparked off this entire debate? Issue is being taken with the claim that 'something dark' will happen in Bella's storyline and I still fail to see how that differs significantly from saying 'something heavy' will happen in her storyline (when realistically whatever happens is likely to be easily defined as either or both, IMHO).
