Thanks for your answer. I tried to use both the RenPy SDK 7.4.11 and the 7.4.6 but I have the same issue that I have when trying to run BAD. The icon would bounce two times before shutting down. As I said before, a couple of months ago I could play the previous BAD version without any problem but now it seems that running Ren'Py programs it's impossible in macOS Monterey, at least with my little coding knowledge lol

The app might be quarantined. To check, open Terminal and type "xattr " without the quotes and then drag the app into the window, so you get xattr /path to your app. Mind there's a space between the command and the path.
Hit enter and check the results. If com.apple.quarantine is listed amongst them, the app is quarantined.
If so, remove the quarantine wite xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /path to your app

That error means the application can't find the Python libraries. This is strange, as the game has Python build in and does not rely on Python being installed on the system. Check /Contents/lib/python2.7.

All the python executables files seems to be ok. So I'm pretty lost. As I said, a couple of months ago I was able to play previous BAD version without any issue. I can now run Ren'Py 7.4.11 without problem either so I'm guessing that the problem doesn't have to do with macOS. My guess is that something hapened concerning python paths when I downloaded and tried (unsuccesfully) to install BAD 8.0 several times while I still had BAD 7.X.X installed. But with my little coding knowledge I can't figure out what actually happened, much less how to fix it lol

You were right, BAD was indeed quarantined, thanks for solving that issue! However... I still have the problem with the python path that I was telling you a couple of weeks ago. I've just replied to you minutes ago.

When the ex showed up in “Three Rules of Life” (I think that was the game), I just bailed. Same as College Kings or one of those games.

But fuck me if I’m not hyped for Zoey. I liked her sass in the flashback story, and she looks like she’s only gotten finer since.

If DPC does this right, by the end of the interlude a heap of readers are gonna change their tune about her and they will be all aboard on the blue train.

Done properly this interlude could bring her up to speed but that's easier said than done.

I hope DPC doesn't go full tragic backstory. If this interlude is 40-60 mins of BaDIK at it's best and by proxy is light on the contrived drama I can see her slotting in nicely. If she comes in as this fun, easy going character free from drama I can see her drawing a fanbase.

If she comes in as Maya 2.0 full of tragedy and angst I think I'll just hard pass on her route. This game needs more carefree relationships that aren't bogged down by outside forces. I am tolerating what we have, overall enjoying it, but we don't need more.

Do you think that if we remove the ex title from Zoey and just put her on as a new character there would be so much controversy with her? Since Zoey is the mirror for several users who project a failed relationship they had in the past on her

DPC never gave us a bad image of her that at least she and the MC had a serious problem that ruined their relationship, it only gave us a feeling that their relationship ended the moment she wanted to go to another city and the MC just wanted continue studying and thus be able to help his father in the future

She is there to give contrast to what MC was before and who he is as a person today. Why is that important at this moment?

She's felt menaced by her father for so long it feels normal. That's what happens with victims of abuse. Try having some empathy.

I'm sort of ambivalent but if she's a cool girl then I have no problems.
I just hope she won't be a flashback generator to talk about MC's past too much. If she's as fierce as she looks then sign me up. We really need another "dik" type girl to balance the cast out.

I stuck with her but then also with Isabella and Jill saw what the MC and Isabella did in her house and walked away. I had 2 saves, one which had ALL the main girls like the MC (from the mod) and the other was mainly Jill's path with some of Isabella. so my question is and i probably know the answer to but i want to clarify, what do i gotta do to make sure the MC and Jill are a thing? I know Maya and Josy are close to MC from the start as well.

You need to kiss her on the night MC become a dik (you can kiss her before on teh first date but this one lock you in Jill path), then you need to go on birthday date with her (don't call sage when she's sick), then fight for her after the double tennis, (after that she should invite you to a dinner with her friends) help her when she go on stage. All of that while you are in neutral or chick affinity (if you are in dick affinity she will reject you in the end)
