I don't think this is entirely clear by the end of Ep.8. There are some casual-sex options that definitely close off - texting Jade to say it's over, for instance - but there are some options that, by the end of Ep.8, haven't been closed off YET. Personally I suspect that making a choice means you've chosen to be faithful, but it's not proven. It makes some sense the way Casiope explained it. If you have at least one CHICK bar, you're not ALWAYS a DIK.
Would be better if it worked in a similar way from the beginning though. He only needed to be slightly smarter than Becky to do it the way where permanent and non-permanent affinities work the same. Just had to check for DIK_CHOICES > CHICK_CHOICES * 2 instead of DIK_CHOICES > CHICK_CHOICES + 1
