To be standing at the beginning you need to get up first.

So, get up & stand first time, fall first time... get up 7th time, fall 7th time, get up 8th time.

You breaking conditions. It clearly begins from falling so you need to stand at the beginning.
By your logic to get up first you also need somehow to be in the position from which you need to get up. Of course it can be said that you got up from sitting. But then how did you got into sitting position? With that logic you can go to the past endlessly with endless possibilites. So you need clear conditions to solve this task or it will be unsolvable.
So like i said, judging by the poster at the beginning you are standing.

That probably has something to do with the episode numbers. Fall down as in, 7 episodes down.

DPC's cheeky like that, that fucker even pats himself on the back as if our approval isn't enough.

Take a look at the EPs. Up to EP7, the MC may make mistakes, i.e. fall down. From EP8 on, he should no longer stumble, i.e. make any more mistakes.

It is a metaphorical saying, the same as saying "give 120% of yourself".
It's about overcoming, if you fall down 7 times you have to be willing to get up 8... I mean, it's not literal.

If the proverb was, “Fall down 7 times, get up 7 times”, that would be super lame. That would mean to do the bare minimum.

But gettting up 8 times - that means to strive beyond expectations.

Does anyone have a run where they failed a majority or all their classes? Because maybe Magnar isn't a dick at the party (and therefore Sally isn't grouchy) if he's not trying to beat MC in grades.

My initial response is no that wouldn't fly, because I don't think Magnar is in the same classes as MC. But I can't swear to it, so if someone wants to play a dumbass MC and fail them all to find out ...

I also don't think Magnar is in competition with anyone except himself. He reminds me of me at school; anything less than 100% is a fail.

Only if you consider waiting 6 months a scam but seriously I don't think a single episode of BADIK has been delayed or pushed back. He's consistently released episodes every 6 months.

The dev uses pretty wide range on his deadlines, in other words : he does not set them, atleast not publicly...
However his updates have been steady and there's not many devs delivering quality and amount of content like DPC does.
He regularly gives updates on where he is in his development on his patreon and/or in his discord channel.

I don't think he has set deadlines, but I would say it's no scam. It might, if something goes wrong, never see completion, but a monthly Patreon is getting their money's worth so far, with episodes being released. A scam attempt wouldn't have this much content in it before getting abandoned.
