This is a game design mechanic, after a certain number of decisions your DIK affinity becomes fixed.

If you didn't want to be permanently neutral, play through again and make different choices.

The MC didn't really care about what was being lie, so the lie is not significant.

MC doesn't need to lie couse it's a porn game so his behaviour is going to be accepted. Maya is simple more tolerant with the MC flaws than the MC.
