Correct. Episode 8, patch 2. His numbering sequence isn't a complex algorithm factored to end at "version 1".

I am hereby correcting you, because you are wrong. He updated to the 64-bit RenPy with the release of episode 8. He's making subsequent releases as a separate game just due to the raw size. 18.6GB for seasons 1 and 2, that's a shitload of data, especially without incremental patches as a part of his release schedule.
Depending on how big it gets in season 3, there's always a chance he'd release season 4 separately as well.

I don't see how someone who is not with Bella or Jill could attend to a party with the Burkes and the Royces.
Maybe there is a solution after Maya and Josy meet Burke and Jade. Knowing our dear Burke he could well put a condition to his help as he did before with all the Hots that Quinn sent him.
So inviting Maya and Josy could work if he can drag Maya in a separate room for a intimate discussion! And of course as Sage is their daughter, if you follows Sage you can be invited.
So we can see that you could be invited if you follow any of the 5 main LI.
And about Jill, as you just poped her cherry, she could well take a wild turn, IRL i have already seen many girls who just lost their mind once they tasted the dick! ...at the end of season 2, we were at 19.5 GB, which means season 2 by itself was 13.4 GB; and
...the episode-to-episode size increase has gone from 3.1 GB to 3.4 GB to 5 GB all within season 2; and
...the interlude all by itself is 2.6 GB, and that's less than 1/5th of the render and animation time of episode 8;
Anybody who thinks that there's more than a snowball's chance in hell that season 4 won't be a separate file from season 3 needs to tell us what they are smoking, because it's some powerful stuff.
All these numbers explicate my total love for compression and compressed versions I 'd have never played these games without them so my hughest thanks to all compressors. To Devs a porn movie is better quality has longer scenes and weight less GB just think about it...Given the facts that...

Halloween party at the DIKs will be an Other fuckfest, with Sage, Josy and Maya added because HOTs, but it will mostly be all about the other girls.
Jill and Bella have no place at that party, especially Bella, she can't be there drinking and smoking with students, so we need something else for her...enter a smaller party with her and Jill and maybe Cathy/Jade/Nora/Bianca, there's no reason a DIK or Other path can't be there also.
So yeah two parties, not at the same time though, I think too much effort will go in to planning the Mansion party to lose it for a small get together with wine and apples.

in all the big freeroams there have been a few LIs excluded (Jill and Bella always, then sometimes Maya, sometimes Sage), so there would be nothing strange

starting with the assumption that the Halloween party will be the big free roam of the chapter, so far those who attend these events have always been prefixed, with no concessions to MC's emotional situationI simply can't understand this reasoning. Surely Bella is a bit of tricky, But it is a Masked party, and to be fair, she has no business in MC's room in the first place, yet she already spend one night there, and We saw from the preview She gonna visit him again.
