wait so you think i have perception problem but you fail to see how riona played with jamies emotions when MC literally SAYS IT. that is not just perception problem, that borders with reading problems.
MC literally tells Riona that what she did is bad and in return she replies how she doesnt see it that way and instead sees it as giving the guy a confidence boost. That is the difference in perspectives, riona sees it one way, while guys sees it the other.

If you think using this example to describe jacob/zoey situation where again girl sees it one way while guys sees it the other way, i think that is yet another example of how you have perception problem cause its 1:1 metaphor.

Zoey literally meets the guy and in the same night goes to his room. Say whatever you want, defend it however you like it. Blame it on DPC if you must, but no girl have ever just met the guy and immediatelly accepted to see inside his room without being interested. This is not to say that i am trying to prove zoey was interested, this is just me proving my point that zoey is oblivious to the fact that her version of being friendly is what guys see as flirting. If you are unaware of it and if you want to argue agaisnt this, good luck because you gonna have hard time doing it without looking incely yourself.

One thing you got right is that Zoey did not flirt. Yes she was not flirting because to flirt with someone means to be sexually attracted to someone. So she was not flirting with Jacob, PROBLEM IS... she was acting the way girls normally act when they are flirting. SO problem is not jacob, problem is zoey.

If anything, one loves that you are teaching her a lesson through the power of MC's MC. Which is kind of funny. She's a self-actualized character who thinks she's done her learning, and she is wrong. Her backstory mirrors a choice that Maya and Sage may choose: accept or reject her family based on her choice for her life.

Whereas the Zoey character is a "finished" character looking for one very specific arc (love), Lily only thinks she's done with that part of her life (no love).

Or we could be wrong and she chooses to go back to herself, or run away. It's a toss up with her and how depressed DPC is that day of writing.

And from that, Lily herself is nothing special. She's the other side of the coin of the Pink Rose girls. And a simple mirror of the bad girl, Quinn, and the Others/DIK path.

I'm gonna like have to disagree here, Lily is much more caring than Quinn and secretly not a bad girl
