Could be.
I have a couple of times mentioned my hypothesis that Bella and Lynette knew each other. The fact that the photo happens on Bella's path as well as Jill's gives more weight to the idea. Before this all additional clues about Lynette have come only through Jill's path. However, it also implies that the revelation won't come through Bella's secret room. After all why set up the photo if the revelation is railroaded for all paths way sooner. Unless of course the purpose of the photo isn't to reveal the truth to Bella and MC, but to reveal their relationship Miranda. That would actually be really satisfying. Even before they themselves found out they started a chain reaction of being discovered.
Another point (if I remember episode 11 correctly) that solidifies that hypothesis is that Bella also already seems to be good friends with Bianca, and I seriously doubt that's only because of Jill. Also Bella is too old to (in general) become friends Bianca normally. That leaves (at least) two logical reasons why they are friends:
1. Just like Jill Bianca and Bella met and became friends if Bianca also went to B&R
2. Bella met Bianca at a young age through one of Bianca's relatives. Especially this fits with your Bella and Lynette hypothesis, through Miranda.

Now that I think about it... That's also a possibility what might (also) be in Bella's room: Proof of her friendship with Lynette and maybe others, like photo's and/or paintings. If that's the case, she might have locked it up (and only sometimes look at it, considering we've also seen her look in that room) not really to hide it from MC, but more because (like with Neil) the loss of Lynette hurts her too much to have it in one of her other more common rooms.

That might also explain why the door wasn't locked at christmas dinner (unless she simply forgot to lock it): It might be that she was planning to show that room to MC, but wanted to do it in her own time and not like how it happened in ep 11.

The thought I have about Bella's room is that it has become a sort of clutter room. At first it was just some painful things she has a hard time looking on a daily basis, but wouldn't dream of throwing away. Such as a crib and other items she prepared for a baby she lost. Then other such items ended up in there. The latest addition would be her wedding photo and she forgot to lock the door when she put it there.

But while Bella has lost Lynette she might not know that she is dead. It could be that Lynette's parents went to such extreme lengths to punish Neil and MC that they even prevented their daughter's friends from finding out as they might decide to offer help. And the fact that Miranda has not been there to help Neil and MC would imply that she doesn't know. There is no way she would have sided with Lynette's parents instead of her son.

Everything sounds good, but there is (for me) 1 big issue with this theory: Even if Miranda doesn't know that Lynette's dead, she should've known that Lynette was pregnant. I don't know how it is in the US, but where I'm from it's quite normal to have at least your best friends close to you if you give birth. Lynette died while giving birth, so Miranda should know about it if she was close to her.

What a surprise would it be if Bella has a copy of the same photo of Lynette and friends in that room as the one MC's gotten. I've also got a theory why she hasn't seen that picture in MC's room even if she's been there: Lorewise it doesn't hang on the wall but is still in the box or diary. In not a single cutscene we've ever gotten a shot of the wall above MC's desk where we see it through gameplay.

Well since putting the photo on the wall Bella has only been in his room once. If she made regular visits, she should definitely see it, but missing it on that one time is hardly implausible.

I'd say friends and family gathering at a birth is fairly common in first world countries if not completely global, but Neil and Lynette had run away together and hadn't gotten married. It would imply that they were keeping a very low profile. Possibly to the point of leaving Lynette's phone behind for fear of it being traced.

I have constructed quite a web of assumptions in this. Lynette leaves behind her phone, but brings a little book of addresses and phone numbers along so she'll be able to contact them when she gets an opportunity. She writes old fashioned snail mail letters to her friends including Bella in which she explains what she is doing and why. She never found the opportunity to contact them and they considered themselves forgotten.

Now here is the kicker. To their friends Isabella and Lynette were Bella and Lynn, but to each other they were Bee and Net. Lynette talked about Bee on a regular basis, but the name in the address book is Isabella. No first or last name in the book starts with a B and so even when Lynette told Neil to call Bee he just didn't know who that was. All he could do was let the authorities contact her parents who then did as they pleased.

19 years later we have... drama!

Even though that indeed are quite a few assumptions, I agree they are quite likely to have happened.

When it comes to Bella entering his room, wouldn't you think she would've entered his room more often during the montage? I know that we don't see it, but the cat is out of the bag thanks to Nick so Tremolo and Bella don't really have a reason to hide it from them (unless they still hide it just in case a non-DIK is in the house, like tattletale Arieth).

Also, It's not unlikely that the picture isn't on the wall above his desk in canon, considering Jill has come more often to his room and seems to not have seen it (otherwise I'm pretty sure she would've recognized at least Miranda), plus we see other stuff on the same wall that I'm pretty sure aren't there (like the Pink Rose VIP card or his gym-card).

I've got a photo of Jill and one with Lily/Nicole on my wall on my Bella path, and she's never said a word. :) :ROFLMAO:

EDIT: And FYI, Lily & Cindy on my phone. (She's never been bothered by that either).

has the author ever given an estimated number of final chapters/seasons?
Season 4 will be the last one, and the latest estimate in 2024 was 14-16 episodes (including epilogues/endings). He didn't give a clear update in his 2025 FAQ about this.

Bella is too cautious to flaunt their relationship. And just because she has to live with the DIKs knowing about it doesn't mean she wants to interact with them. Then there is the possibility of someone else seeing her come and go. Until I see her actually take such chances I'm assuming she doesn't.

But all things considered certain things such as phone and laptop wallpapers and at least the paintings on the wall are likely not canon. On the other hand the helmet being on his desk most definitely is canon. And again his gym card at least should be on him. We know that he had the Jill picnic picture on him when he went to the bar with Tommy so presumably the photos are actually in his wallet.

So everything has to be considered independently.

If everything on the wall was canon though...:

Jill: What is the Pink Rose?
MC: It's a local strip club that the DIKs frequently go to.
Jill: Why do you have a VIP-card for it and why are you showing it on your wall instead of hiding it?
MC: Ehm...

Just unlock all gallery with all possible affinity for every girls. Imo sage is the best girlfriend/wife material. Although she's the kind of 'wild' girl who wants to do wild stuff, she want to change for the sake of tremolo. I think heather is same like her, except heather is kind of 'vanila' girl who want to change for the sake of tommy. Poor tommy.. he lost diamond while chasing for gold
Dik zoey is the most annoying girl. I even more like tara which we only know her better in last episode than dik zoey
Did dpc have mentioned that girl in other branch can become mg? If yes i really want lily, camila, riona, or tara become one

If I'm not mistake he has kind of confirmed that some side girls will have an exclusive ending, but not which or how many (I believe he has at least said not all).

When it comes to Heather: I'm pretty sure that there will at least 1 route (where MC doesn't end up fucking her) where she will return with Tommy. During the panty party we find out she still have very strong feelings for him (even if her "cucumber" blowjob shows otherwise) and throughout the franchise there are also many moments where we see Tommy becoming less "assholy", mostly thanks to MC. This makes me think that there's a pretty good chance him and Heather might become a couple again.

I can't really say I'm on board with the "Bella knew Lynette" theory (even more small world syndrome, adds needless drama, mommy issue adjacent) but I can fuck with the clutter room idea, as well as the reason why the door was unlocked.

Pretty sure they scheduled for November or January. While our ski trip was around Christmas.
True, the last word about it was maybe November, and we definitely went in December. Still, the conversation has a currently pointless amount of focus on it. If it were just for Geoff's introduction, we talk to Geoff directly in a different room so it wasn't really needed.

Idk, just a thought.
