SETTING: The newly built gym on the premesis of B&R University.
The squeaking sound of shoe soles meeting the slippery
hardwood flooring can be heard repeatedly.
AT RISE: CHAD sits on the bleachers, eyes scanning back and forth,
as the game proceeds. MELANIE approaches the door, anxious
for what lies in wait.

MELANIE
Have we met before?
(CHAD raises his eyes, previously focused on the game, to meet the unknown woman)
MELANIE (Cont.)
Yeah, I'm talking to you Mr. Great Ape!
CHAD
(monotone)
Not interested. "We don't play for the same team".
(CHAD acknowledges the ethereal beauty of the woman approaching him, but alas he is not attracted to women)
MELANIE
You bat for the other team, huh? Too bad! You know, I could set you up with someone. You won't find a better wingwoman on campus.

How or who could force Tommy to do anything? Tommy would choose "die." If it were up to Tommy, the HOTs wouldn't even have been at the Halloween party. Forget about having the ALPHAs and DIKs throw a party together. The only compromise would be for the HOTs to host the New Year's Eve party. But, true to Riona's logic, it might work for a while, but it would still escalate because mutual hatred is too deeply ingrained in the ALPHAs and DIKs.

Tommy will have to suck it up and deal with as will all the DIKs and Jocks, but it's happening. And even if it's the HOTs organising it, so what? That would just add more to this being a joint party.

I can understand why you're so insistent.

I'm insistent because it's what's going to happen. It's literally how this freeroam gets to 87 people and having DIKs, HOTs, Jocks, Preps, Nerds, dorm girls, and even faculty here is prime drama and what would be expected from a big season finale before the final season.

I certainly wouldn't celebrate with people who would have trashed my house. I wouldn't let myself be forced to either. That's completely unrealistic.

Why do you keep going on about empty rooms and can't seem to grasp the simple concept that the angle of these shots is not showing the whole room? There's going to be more people in each of these rooms, you're just not seeing the whole room in these shots.

The fireworks have started, and everyone is outside. But why isn't Sage standing with her true friends, gazing melancholically at the sky? Her expression says something. She's celebrating without her true friends.

What sky? She's indoors She's clearly inside one of the rooms of this big party.

Nope. One party, one place, multiple rooms. Your idea makes zero sense.

I'm thinking that this is so the MC will only be at the ALPHA party if he's on the Sage or "Others" branch. Otherwise, Sage will be at the ALPHA party without her true friends. Why? Because she's aware of her responsibility as HOT's president. The ALPHA party is going to be awful, and there won't be many people there. But Dawe can't say anything because the HOT president is there. Sage is preventing an escalation between the ALPHAs and DIKs this way. She watches the fireworks knowing that her true friends will also be watching them at that exact moment, making her feel connected to them.

This is all complete nonsense what you're saying here, reading way too much into a single render and coming up with a crazy scenario out of nothing, but also the notion that the MC would be at separate parties depending on path.

That is absolutely not happening, and no, what happened in Ep 11 does not set any kind of precedent for that. In Ep 11 he was at the party then has the option to leave to be with the girl(s) he's in a relationship with. In Ep 12, this is the big season finale party where a lot of dramas will come to a head and he's not going anywhere because there's only one party.

I was talking about the party planner mini game. MC is going to help Sage plan the party. In ep 11 the game switched so that Nick was replaced by MC. It can of course just be the next event and MC just pays attention to the DIK side of it, but it would be more interesting if it switched again. And since the party is so big it would be appropriate for the board to get bigger to reflect that.

I'm not sure I see what the issue is anyway, the green around her boob? It's from the green light behind her, it's illuminating the back of her shoulder as well. Presumably the angle, or another light source is why her titty looks like that.

I think these music and songs in BaDIK are a major highlight of the game. These words and lyrics you post can bring the thoughts back to those specific sweet moments. It feels nice.

Another potential way to change it would be for the DIKs to combine into maggot pairs. That way there would be free slots, but how you played the previous rounds wouldn't lose meaning. Leon's score and Jamie's score would combine into Leon/Jamie score which would simply be the average of where they left at ep 11. Same for John Boy and Jacob, Rusty and Tommy, and Derek and MC.

If we take DPC's 60% as accurate, then that puts Episode 12 release at July/August depending on how you account for production having started before Episode 11's release, and for needing playtest time after 12 is content complete.

As for the NYE party, it seems likely to be a single party with most named characters attending. Given that, there are two major options - either it's an official college function, or it's a deliberate attempt by Sage, Chad, Tremolo, and possibly others to avoid the mess of the Christmas parties - either way, it's taking place on neutral ground, with a presumed cease-fire in place.

Tremolo also knows that there's some third party trying to cause trouble for and between the frats, so a joint party could be part of attempting to push back against that.

I thought there would be more previews and maybe some teasers of lewd scenes, but the announcement mostly features neutral renders.
Oh well.
What is likely is that it is rendering in 4K (including animations, lol), which is the reason for such a long development period.
I don't see the point in this 4K at all, DPC's renders are pretty average and not as high quality as the renders of Ocean, for example.
Like, the yellow color won't be so noticeable in 4K?

4k or fullHD makes not much of an impact in development time. Its more an hardware issue... which is none cause DPC has peak hardware. Overall it MAYBE increases the development time by... öhm... 5%? Not even that... when i render stuff, which i dont do often... 4k or fullhd makes not really a difference, only for the hardware... cause it needs of course way more space.

What takes more time is the higher FPS for animations, the complexitiy and the overall lenght. Thats the bottleneck. And DPC was increasing those a lot over the years... more and more animations, more complex, and now every animation will be 60 FPS. Thats time consuming. Adding 4k is not.

He renders everything in 4k and downscaling it for the fullHD release... which is no issue at all.

The main issues for us will be the diskspace and of course the time we need to download everything.

And if 4k is only availavle on steam, i will not be able to get my hands on it except some hero will share it here. On steam there are no AVNs avaiable in my country.

Personally iam fine with fullHD on my 4k Monitor when it comes to VNs, but if i can get a higher resolution i will.


Regarding the "Trailer"... well if you want to call those 3 seconds that. The most improtant thing? Arieth shows a babybelly. So she is indeed pregnant, wouldnt be a surprise if she was not able to use a test the right way and got a false positive test... but here we are. Though... she has to be AT LEAST past the 3rd month already to show that much of a belly... more like 4th or more. Which means, she got pregnant at the start of the game or even before the MC came to the college. I wonder if it will ever be revealed who the actual father is. Or if DPC just drops it and Dawe has to deal with it either way.

Overall 60% done with the episode? So round about... 10% progress every 2 months. September is still possible... didnt thaught that. September was my most guessed date... but after the last two DEV logs i was pretty sure its not possible anymore... but if 60% are correct, even august is in the ballpark again.

and considered the overall amount of content ep12 will have, the DEV time didnt even increase compared to EP11... IF the number is correct. Yeah EP12 will take longer to release, but is bigger aswell. So IF 60% is correct... everything is kinda "fine".

But its a BIG FAT IF.

*edit* Oh... didnt shared my thoughts on the episode title... well, of course its a wink at Acting Lessons too... its a frequent question "will you go the AL path again?" and of course he does like to troll those people...

But overall... its the same words play like before... "calm before the snow" and now "smoke and fire"... yeah well... New Year... firecrackers... maybe some stuipid accident where somebody sets something on fire. And of course you can use those words for all the drama going on too. But most people who know AL assume thats a reference for that... which is just a troll move by DPC of course.
