While I dont think Magnar will directly be involved - a joint party between seems like the perfect opportunity for a drunk Dawe to confront the Diks or have a go at the DIKs about the letters Magnar has sent them

Or maybe the Magnar issue is resolved by then because at the beginning of Ep 12 there are going to be some very pissed off Jocks, both about the party and also the letters, and I think we'll see a confrontation then. The new batch of letters and pics could push the MC and Chad to get a move on with finding out who's done it and maybe they get that breakthrough before the party, perhaps with Sally's help, and it helps to alleviate some of the tensions before the party.

Enough of that. How's this for a change in conversation, will any of the girls go home with MC for Christmas Eve/Day? We already know MC can go see Iris, Bella's status is currently unknown, I imagine we can go to the Royces, the Baileys might not happen, and with the divorce the Burkes are also up in the air.

But Christmas with MC and Neil could be universal, with the probable exception of Bella.

• Jill: they'll decide where to go on which day.
• Maya: maybe they'll wait for Derek's surgery/discharge.
• Sage: they'll stay or go to MC's. Worst case scenario, Stephen's and then Jade's.
• Bella: what if they go to MC's and lead more people in on the fact that a teacher and a student are dating?
• Rio: not likely, since it'd still be a long way before her comeback.
• Quinn: nah. She is temporarily out of action as she needs the heat to die out a bit. Plus, she did tell Henry she might go there
• Sarah/Melanie: more Mel than Sarah since the former is more open to an actual relationship, but no.
• Nicole: now that I'd like to see trying to convince Neil that why dating a stripper is not a bad idea.
• Jade: if anything, it would be the other way around since she [allegedly] got a new place. Will he go with or without Sage?
• Nora: what if MC's got a gift under her tree?
• Zoey: it will definitely depend on whether they kissed or not.

Quite a plausible reason to actually get both groups into the same room, celebrating - Im not quite sure what we'd go into season 4 with, but then again, Ive never been sure what we are going into season 4 with. Just that its not much.

Im not quite sure what we'd go into season 4 with

Burke, Buddy, and Vinny, obviously. Those still have to be resolved and they're way bigger than Magnar. Buddy and Vinny in particular I don't think is over just because they've been arrested. One or both are getting out, Mick too probably, and there will be hell to pay and people put in danger. Meanwhile Burke's got some sleazy schemes that can't go unpunished and may run deeper than we think.

Iris may well be an exception to the rule here. Josy's parents are divorced so in order to see both of them there has to be an arrangement for a Christmas celebration that doesn't happen on Christmas day. So Josy and MC go see Iris then and Christmas proper is something else.

I'd actually like to see MC go to his girlfriend's parents for Christmas and have them invite Neil as well. They get to have their daughter's boyfriend with them without his father having to spend Christmas alone. It's two extra people. Easily done.

But this might be something that will be very different based on path. With Jill I would expect that solution. Sage might be more likely to just join MC and Neil. If you switched to Zoey she definitely would just join MC and Neil. Bella might also join them but it would be awkward.

Josy and Maya depends on if their break up has already taken place. I could see Pete inviting MC and Neil to celebrating Christmas with them. Maya would be more likely to join MC and Neil.

What I could see happening is for Maya to join Josy's family for Christmas and the break up happening as a result of that evening's drama. On their path MC will also be there. Possibly Neil as well.

Suppose the mysterious Priscilla Stephen calls is actually Lynette's mother and MC's grandparents are involved in the B&R corruption. That twist could easily add an episode's worth of drama.

If Neil were to be invited to Jill's home (*that* house from MC's mother's photo)... ...that could provide some interesting drama.

As for Maya/Josy, after the way Neil responded to MC's telling him about the throuple... ...would Neil actually go along with them for the meal? I would expect that would be a bit awkward, at best.

That was my thinking, it depends on Neil talking to Geoff and Amelia and leading the discussion in a certain way.

For Josy and Maya I do wounder how christmas goes and if the break up has already happen at this point, throuple wise the only thing known Mc going home with Josy but is that if you got Josy date or does it happen regardless? my guess is it could be dated dependent but im just guesting DPC isn't giving a lot away
