Game finnished up to the available content. Very fun ride, thank you very much @Mipmip

It felt somewhat charming, with grounded dialog (until the "Master" thing xD). The conditioning is hillarious. I feel the need to major in psichology now (for science ). Plus, the game isn't too grindy, and *ehem*, covers pretty well porn needs.

There is a massive overlook tho: how come the soundtrack isn't "Ring my bell"??

Best trainer game I've played in ages! Enjoying all the public events, just got to the "naked walk" order which was the hottest thing so far. I hope there's more planned in that direction!
Glad you liked it! I make no 100% promises regarding content (creative writing is weird). But yeah more public fun is likely.

That's actually bothered me a little too, It's one of the things targeted for a minor rewrite when I find a minute for it.
I also have a small plan regarding music, we'll see if it pans out in a few versions. though I can tell you right now that copyrighted music like ring my bell isn't going to happen, for obvious reasons :)

Dev update time!

It's been a crazy couple of weeks! Between offering support for new platforms, cross posting the game on a few other places, and me figuring out how to get the game up on the latest updates page, I've seen an incredible increase in new players (hi everybody). While this is 100% a great thing, fresh eyes always find new and interesting bugs. So I spent most of last week doing support and bug fixes. I'm hoping the biggest baddest bugs are now squashed, and future versions should come out a lot smoother. Either way it's an absolute pleasure seeing everybody engage with the game as much as you have, writing reviews, reporting bugs, helping each other out in the forum, that's just awesome.

This week is focused mostly on writing and implementing new scenes. A new date is already in the game and only waiting on art from BDOne (more on that later). The orgasm strength training events are also taking shape nicely. They should keep me busy through the week.
The next version release is still expected to be near the end of February.

As I've been reviewing 2018 I've come to an uncomfortable conclusion. Having a monthly art budget of about 125$ sounds reasonable. But it means I've spent over 1500$ of my own money on art commissions this year. Luckily I'm in a place in my life where I can spend 1500$ a year on a passion project. But since art is usually the slowest pipe in the games production, I'd love to add more artists and make it run faster. But increasing that monthly budget is sadly beyond my financial reach.
Which leads me to a conclusion that I've frankly been trying to avoid for a while now: I need to set up a Patreon. Specifically, I need to see if I can break even on the art budget, and if things go well, increase it and find more qualified artists so I can run them concurrently to speed things up. I'm not 100% if and when this will happen. Just thought I'd put it in writing here both to let you know and to keep myself honest about the real numbers involved.

It's been a rough start, but this project is running smoothly now and I can honestly say I'm proud of the results so far. 2018 has been a hell of a ride (personally and professionally). Here's looking forward to sharing with you an even more interesting 2019!

Wow, you must be the only developer on F95 who doesn't have a Patreon!

I frankly wore that like a badge of honor (makes no sense I know, I'm admittedly weird about money).
But I hope the project may now be developed enough to justify it. Guess we'll see :)
I should give you another half-star on my review for creating a game first, and then trying to recoup costs, rather than grabbing money first in the "you-pay-as-I-learn" that most other devs are in the (bad) habit of doing.

Your transparency is admirable and I think will encourage more people to support you because you're so open. Clearly you're not trying to milk patrons if you only put up a Patreon at version 0.8 of the game.

Actually, I quite liked the "master" thing. Although I agree the game could do with easing into it a little more.

It's a shame this game is so short right now, because damn it's awesome. No grinding for hours before any sexual content is unlocked, the art is good, and... It has orgasm denial and edging. I just hope the OD part will be expanded.

@TheByQ The game will likely always be on the short side since that's all I can devote my time to at the the moment and I try to avoid padding and grinding.
That being said, more OD and edging content is definitely coming in the next two versions. As well as other fun stuff of course :)

It's time for another Dev Update!
This week was focused mostly on writing and implementing new story scenes and actions.
I had some spare time so I got a bit ahead of schedule. I used the extra time to do a quick and dirty redesign of the main menu (see below). This is in no way it's final form, but it looks to me like a step in the right direction.
On the art side BDOne delivered some early versions of the sixth date and Chris is back working on new outfits and... other things :)
I've been looking into adding music into the game. It's relatively simple to find music for scripted scenes with clear tones. But finding music that can fit with any of the things you can do and say in the dynamic part of the game is proving challenging. I'm still in the process of figuring that out, so I'm thinking for the next release only some of the game will have music. I'd appreciate input on this subject, does the game even need music?
At the current pace, this version might be ready earlier then expected. But it's too early to call just yet. I'll be sure to update here if that's the case.
Have a great weekend!

Loved this game! Thanks a lot, @Mipmip.

It feels a lot like a good mix of LabRats and Rogue-Like, with some of the best aspects of both. The progress is steady and doesn't much feel like grinding, but isn't instantaneous either.

I would have preferred a little more art (and, frankly, a little better. Current art is good, but it could be great!), but it is still there as one of the best games I found on this site.

Is there any way to contribute to @Mipmip? There doesn't seem to be a patreon page or anything of the sort.

Hey, @Mipmip ! Thanks a lot for the game.

I one of those that don't find music all that interesting in h-games. However, what I feel would add a *lot* to the game would be the sound of the bell, whenever it is used.

Congrats on the game, one more time.

If you look again at the image that he posted of the main screen that's coming in the next version you'll see that he's setting up a Patreon.

From my perspective, no. The first thing I do when I start playing a game is turn off the music. I'm usually already listening to something else.

I also turn off sounds. I can see how in this game though, the bell is a key part of the plot, and hearing the bell sound would be part of the experience. Any chance you could make separate toggles, one for the bell and another for the other sounds?

The first thing that I do with most games is turn music off. It's a very rare game that has music that I consider worth listening to. Music is often (usually) a distraction to being able to concentrate and make good decisions while playing a game. This isn't such a big deal with porn games, I'll grant, but "mood" music IMO interferes with the playing of RPGs and shooters. Sound f/x yes, music no. Adding an appropriate sound when ringing the bell would enrich the game for most players, but don't waste your valuable dev time implementing music. I'd rather see you devote that time to coding more scenes.

Glad you liked it, those are two of my favorite games, so thanks!

Alright, I hear you about the music. I had my own doubts about it so I'll put that on the back burner for now. And yeah a bell sound effect is in the plan (not likely for this version though).

As @Awolfe spotted the Patreon decision has indeed been made. I'll probably have that up and running in a couple of days, since it doesn't really need to coincide with the next version. (Of course, I fully expect it to be mostly silent until the next release :) )
