I think i'm getting an aneurysm from reading the pages of this thread. Aleksey has been working on this for a long time already, and his own renders are top notch. He's not just another copycat. And he has already stated that he plans to continue all routes. Which means, Eric will be there (but probably not as omnipotent as in the original). From what i've gathered, you can keep the girls for yourself, or you can make friends with Eric and he shares the spoils, or you can watch what he does without interfering.

When I first played BB, I hated Eric. But at the same time he was the driving factor that kept me grinding that fuckin game, to prevent him getting all the girls. Without him the game got extremly boring as the actual sexy scenes were spread so much apart that you lost any excitement inbetween.

And maybe it's just me, but I disliked playing as Max. He was just a little shit with the body of a 13 year old that perved on his relatives. He was a complete NEET whose only goal was to get his dick wet though some insidious manipulation of his own family. I can understand if the family would rather take Eric's word over his. He was outwardly a strong, successful and generous man whereas Max was a good-for-nothing. The familys reaction made sense that way. I'd kinda like to play the game with Eric as the protagonist now

While it may take some time, but I believe, Aleksey will deliver the original envisioned game DS wanted to make before he buckled under the pressure of his patrons wishes (which was what made him ultimately abandon the game, not patreons incest rules).

Looks like you didn't see his patreon page, he was doing the BB sequel, though, he thought it best to do it on the Ren'Py engine and then decided to do it all again. Maybe you never played the original version he was reworking, but as I said, he wanted to make his own version of it than take the DarkSilver version and continue. The demo version does not feature adult content as it is a demo version that it is still working on. There is more content in the next version which is also a demo but it is only for patreons.

So what you're saying is that it will be boring until the next version.
Well I hope I can use the saves in the next version at least.

Just look at the difference of the dev income when they making BB and when they making glamour... it's a stark difference...

Well, most of the BB knock offs are awful. In terms of BB game quality, we hardly saw any good ones. That Russian knock off of BB is horrible. The game play is horribly dusted with Patreon locks. Even with the modders' cheats, the English dialogue is totally alien. The game interface has too many delays. So yeah, not too many good BB remakes.

Just hoping that this is a good one, AND, if there is an Eric, the first scene should be MC kicking Eric out of the house!

AND, judging by the number of posts, there are plenty interested in this. Then too, the people who did not post have to be counted as well. So, hitch your trousers, and get ready to FAP. Naysayers notwithstanding, people are very interested.

I almost stopped playing after been sent to military camp, thinking that the game sucked, thank god I tried again and used cheats, after all that Eric nonsense this game has some of the hottests scenes I played in a porn game.

So many people bitching and complaining about Eric. I felt that he was a great villian, really made the player hate him. The fact that so many people still get so pissed off and worked up over him after all this time is proof of that. I'll admit that when I first found BB and Eric showed up he almost drove me to quit but then I would have missed out on the satisfaction of beating him and taking the girls for myself.

BB was and is famous because of the quality of renderings(only matched by a handful of games in F95), the design of the character models(no dumbass disproportionate tits and asses, hair that looks like a mop etc) and the charm of the females themselves(which is party due to the decent dialogue).
Ann was strict, Alice was bitchy, Lisa was naive, and Kira mysterious.
After mc's manipulation(which is what made it fun) they all became docile to his needs and slowly became his harem(with Eric out of the way).
What 90% of adult games fail to do is this balance of struggle and keeping you interested for a long time. They either make dumb characters that fuck for no reason(no romance,atrraction etc),or to the other extreme where u have to grind for 2 years before you touch first base with a female(milking of patreons).
BB has many flaws, but compared to what it did right, they are miniscule.

It was also one of the first games on renpy that looked good. He even defined the genre; how many games used the same settings after that?

No, it's just one dude posting multiple times. Eric adds a sense of competition, a way to overcome an additional obstacle. If you quit a game after losing once, is it the games fault or your own because you don't have the patience or drive to figure out how to beat it?

Doubt this game will ever even get remade though, this dev's patreon account got into hot water already lol.

I like this version.

In particular I think the variable random images is a nice touch. I like that peeping, sleeping, pool is a bunch of different poses in different outfits.

I like that the menu where you see the characters shows the characters in the outfits they are currently wearing (if you catch a girl half naked while getting changed look at her profile and you will see her half naked).


What i would like to see.

-Once Max builds up a big enough relationship with the girls in the story he should be able to request (persuade check?) for them to wear specific outfits and if he gets to a dominating role he can demand they wear specific outfits under certain conditions. I.E. get Alice in the schoolgirl outfit, pic a specific bathing suit for Lisa, choose what they are sleeping in.

What needs adjusting

-Maybe it's the bare bones content atm, but god damn the grind is crazy.

No, it failed because of the way eric was implemented into the game, how he gained control and access way too fast like he brainwashed the mother, and how the Player as the MC is basically helpless against him for 2 or 3 weeks in game before the dev let you start getting rid of him and in that time he is already in control of your mom, starting to control the older sister and the aunt to the point he fucks them both if i remember correctly. Then with the little sister he takes over her sex ed, the part i found fucked up about that from a porn gameplay pov is even if you are going for forced NTR, you couldn't even peek at these scenes, they were just behind a locked door because idk imagine what is happening? not the best concept

I for one am excited to see if the new Dev can fix these and make the game great. Good luck Dev
