These do-over devs and games are the worst kind especially if update rates were just as atrocious as before. Whenever that happens, it's just time to chuck it out of your life especially those who have supported it before, at least that's how it should be.

I wasn't thrilled about that either when I read about it months ago. By now I have made my peace with it. Let's see if the gameplay really will be smoother and the grind factor smaller, as promised.

It is.
I believe very few people were thrilled about the reboot. The issue is the time taken and the content already created may have justified a somewhat more robust release. I'm all for giving him the time to rebuild but I am sitting on the sidelines for now hoping for something a little more fulfilling. The good thing I see though is that he's really cleaned up a lot of the time-wasting content and streamlined the game for a more rapid story development. I just hope he has a story to fill it with. Said it before the root story is the Achilles heel of this so get rid of Eric or continue with him, the mold breaking event is what happens after and who successfully executes it. My opinion.

Have not played Glamour in a bit but when I stopped it was miles in front of all the other versions on the BB side. Have no idea where it's reached in it's storyline but I have seen a few updates since I've stopped. So I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be abandoned but who knows.

Another day another 25 drive-by "WTF IS THIS SHIT THE DEV IS A SCAMMER" posts.

The game's not abandoned.
This rebuild seems to be about making the actual code/renders easier to work with and adding a new UI design and events, not "milking" his supporters.
It's also not "out of nowhere" either, been known about for months.

And before one of you calls me a "cuck" that "likes getting scammed" I'm not and have never been one of his supporters.

It's branched off into a college for sex slaves story and lip service to the old porn plotline unfortunately the max plot after mom loses her job is nonsense without playing the Kate side as well so you get to grind through the same stuff twice for 20 repetitions

Well, that sucks. honestly, he tried to reign in the stupidity "with the Big Kitchen scene event" but it missed the mark and descended again it seems. This story has a reasonable hook but pass a certain point to me they all start falling flat on the storyline. The most successful version to date for me for this story is Power Vacuum. It has a plot, a good villain, an MC that evolves as the game progresses. A lot of folks can't even remember Eric in it because it was handled properly and the game play is reasonable for a sandbox, I'll wait and see what BB_ASR comes up with but in my opinion a good story writer is needed to get pass the tripping point.

Hey keep it on topic, this thread's about how Aleksey is milking his supporters and wanting to see Eric sexually abuse his girlfriend/employee's naive overly-sheltered teenage daughter, not Glamour!

The writing is complete nonsense, even if I find it fun that Lisa was turned into a complete sex maniac, she turns every conversation into something about getting layed.
They want to go commercial, but keep filming everything with Smartphones and don't even rotate them for wide screen.

What's really bad about the game however, are the repetitions. Every update gets one new sequence, but to unlock everything in that sequence you have to do the same sh** over and over again, evey time the text will be a little different or a pic will be added. The rest of the time you spend fast forwarding to the next morning. One of Alice's events hat to be repeated 16(!!) times before reaching the final stage and I don't know how often the afternoon coaching had to be repeated.

And of course the old inconsitencies are back. Alice films Max taking Lisa from behind with Ann watching in the morning, and in the afternoon they are worried that Ann might find out about them.

Well I was trying to be a little easier on him but your right. Had a chat with DS once and told him that the way Ann's character was beings destroyed during the whole Alice in charge fiasco was too much to stomach and (I can say this now) he told me that things would be getting better and the hold on for the next update. That was just before the version where Ann found out about the cameras and I thought "ok let's see where this goes". The scene where Ann addresses the nonsense going on up to that point was what I thought was a course correction in that VN, then.... the floor fell out and the story crashed for me. played the early parts of Max in college then stopped. I've said in other places (maybe here too, not sure) the home is in need of money, someone is threatening your home and mom, you've no idea why your house came to your family out of the blue with a hidden monitoring system built in, no idea what your father does to have money to build a house like that to give to you guys. Are there any hidden rooms or items in the house that you should know about, what are the neighbors like yet and the only thoughts on your mind is to walk around trying to bone the women of the house (this is Glamour generally but can be applied to all versions). There is so much story to build on but generally devs miss this and that why the team that gets a good storyteller to be will most likely finish the unfinishable story to me. By now we all know the basics what I'd like to know is what else is there?

My issue with Glamour is that he seemed to completely throw any thoughts of plausibility out the window entirely. Pretty much right from the get go Max can fuck his entire family and none of them find anything strange or taboo about it. There's no build up to it. There's no justification given for how or why they might agree to that. The only explanation that makes sense is Max is a superhero with Mind control who can just fuck anyone he wants at will for no reason. There's no story at all in Glamour.

It's less of an issue in the Kate path since it's a lot more plausible for a girl who wants to be a slut to just fuck anyone she wants. Most guys would say yes so the only question marks are the lesbo scenes. It's still boring though since he's not focusing on anything that's an actual challenge for the main character.

At least with the original BB he made SOME attempt at creating some justification for each of them. You could argue about how plausible that justification was, but it wasn't just treated like it was nothing.

Aleksy is doing a MUCH better job at building up to it and creating some kind of justification and plausibility. He also seems to be relying less on punishment and blackmail, which IMO is a good thing. I don't mind some creeper stuff but to me the amount of it in the original BB was overboard.

Yeah I never liked the "punishment" stuff that much, especially once Eric put the idea of forcing the victim to strip first into Anne's head.
And the blackmail is bad too, especially what Eric did with Max and Kira.

In the original it was often Alice blackmailing the others, but you are right, it became really tiresome. A blackmails B, then the other way around, then it's punishment, some lessions, punishment again, a little BDSM once in a while and the spinning wheel goes on and on and on. The only thing missing in this game to meet all the cliches was a spinning bottle game.
Alexeys way to tell his story is much better. But since he follows the original setting, he's quite limited too.
