Yeah, if you do it before dinner instead of in the morning then it rarely works, if ever. It may be similar to how planting the spider in Alice's room works, in the sense it's only guaranteed to work if done during the time slot directly before the relevant event (meal or sleep)
anyone know how to enable to console to edit money? worst part is this fucking cash grind, would be easiest for that to be knocked out
just make sure you always have ads running, then its like hundo a day.....trick is to sleep at 2 am, then punch 4 hr skip 4 times, that way you miss the meals and sister in room
Not sure if the ads are worth the expenses actually. I'd need to look in the code to see how they work add, but it seems like you get ~60 per day without them and ~120 with the ad active... but the ad itself costs 50 so that's a gain of maybe 10 or so. So yes, it is a gain, but pretty minor one.
The whole thing doesn't make much sense simulation-wise anyway, there's like 100 extra viewers if you can get Alice to take off her top while sunbathing, but there's no viewer increase when everyone starts walking topless, or when there's naked people fucking all over the place, and the rooms that gather viewers appear very much random (e.g. 100+ people watching religiously empty terrace while there's teens having anal sex in the kitchen) Given coding it more detailed doesn't make much sense in a porn game, it'd probably look more believable if it was reduced just to overall viewer count and daily earnings, since the cameras don't show the player anything anyway.
yeah thats true I should have clarified, 120 gross, so like 50 vs 60 net. Still, that means roughly 30 days if you ask mommy for money a few times.
I guess I'm unsympathetic after just having played a game like Followers where you make 60-$80 a day at your pizza job, and you need five grand for a quest.
And yeah, it's definitely a missed opportunity to not have the viewer count and earnings correlate with more salacious events - my guess is that the cameras are an area he deliberately skimped on to focus elsewhere (which is fine, you cant do everything) - but you look at companion games like Big Brother - another, the cameras are more involved - like spying on other rooms as well as earning money <--- I thought it was comical in this game when on mod route and eric first stays in alice's room and it just displays a message like "oh they're probably having sex"....mfer we literally have cameras in every room of this house, no action would be secret to us

had a similair thing, where it was under additional and was like punish "alice, will effect her mood", it was after mom lost job and she was home all the time, 8AM triggers mom only, but if you talk to mom and she allows you to personally punish the girls, you should be able to break into her room about 1200-1300 to place the cigs, and then the option to punish her yourself should open up, and then that will progress to punishing her alone in her room, do that 3 times and you get a new punishment

Yes, if you Set Alice Up in the morning it will trigger punishment in the morning, but the quest wants you to punish her specifically after dinner, so for that the easiest way is to enter her room at 18:00 while Alice is busy cooking dinner, plant the cigarettes there and just advance the clock by hour.

The cameras broadcast the image directly to the site, and the hacker blocked the ability to bypass the settings. So Max can only peek through windows, like in the original game or Smirny's mod. Iirc next update should feature camera feeds like in Aleksey's game. It was on his agenda for 1.04 according to him.
Idk how he'll do it tho. Will he just remove the whole hacker plot point from the game altogether and give us camera access from the beginning or will there be a new event or something like that where you can get rid of the hacker and gain access to the feed henceforth.
I hope it's the former.
Agreed, thinking back, the hacker subplot didnt really add much, rather felt more like a contrived plot device to restrict access whilst also providing money/cams early.
If the game economics were done well, I actually wouldnt mind a mini game of purchasing cameras room by room, and trying to maximize your dollar gain from each - especially if the player had significant control over variables affecting earning; like can he suggest npcs to move to that room and dance around half naked, etc...

The silliest part of the whole camera thing is, the MC just receives a parcel with cameras worth some 10-15k USD and is expected to just dutifully install them instead of simply peddling them for instant money and showing whoever sent them middle finger.
