I agree with everyone saying that DS doesn't know how to write an incest game, but I also think that he doesn't have a clue about BDSM either. We've yet to see any good BDSM being played out. So far all it's been so far is;

Sorry to talk about Eric, but I realized that he was an important character in this game after he was gone. I hate Eric, but I think the story would have been more natural if DS used Eric more. Because I think DS would have considered Eric's story as the main story.

Anyway, Eric was ejected too soon.

You are completely wrong about the role of Eric and what he will do to MC’s family. Eric appeared in the game as a rival to Max and try to fuck all members in Max’s family and kick Max out of the house. Only by getting rid of Eric, Max can proceed with Lisa and Alice and help Kira from being blackmailed so he can get some helps from her to get Ann and himself a job. And if Max keeps blackmailing Eric, Eric has no point to stay in that family since he can’t do what he want: fucking all members and kick Max out.

The story kind of fell apart when you're 18 - 19 years old and don't leave the house without a medical or psych condition dude.

Totally agree with you. Eric is an asshole, but as you know every game must have not only protagonist but also an antagonist, and Eric was him. When we finally kill him or sell to sex slavery, the game became bored. Because there is no competition. Right after Eric is gone the game transform frome novel to in some kinde "click and point" arcade where we batter the left mouse button. In erlier updates we play the game with two main goals, to fuck the family members and not to get in army camp. And now its just stupid clicking for CG erotic pictures viewing.

How do you convince family members to go against society and their own initial feelings and have sex with you? The "antagonist" is the incest taboo itself, added on top of the difficulty in seducing any girl in the first place. That's not to say that you can't have an antagonist if you want one, but even without incest you don't need that. You just need a good story, and some challenges to overcome. So I've got a few questions about this whole discussion.

Not a question, but I'm sure there's many people playing this game that don't care for the story and just want to see sexual content. There's also probably a lot of people for whom incest is just having sex with family members and nothing more.

I disagree. What kind of challenge is seducing anyone in a harem game? It's something you have by definition and it's not even possible to not get that. Maybe in a game with amazing writing and 1 dateable female that would be incredible realistic it would be hard but in harem games there is no tension nor challenge. Everyone has their particular kink so DS has exactly 0% chance of pleasing everyone. That said, I don't really think that the fine points of how he is playing out the various fetishes here are his primary failing. His premise started strong and had elements I loved and those I hated, creating pretty decent drama and thematic elements. In other words it was not only hot it was interesting but at this point the story is just pedantic and frankly boring. No matter how good his renders are hot 3d models only go so far. Its pretty clear DS has nearly zero enthusiasm for this project other than as a cash cow and it has really has shown in writing for the the last half-dozen releases or so.

I agree with you, but since we don't have an interesting storyline, or some mini games for diversity, and multiples answer options which will guide us to new sex scenes like in japan eroge (becous all unswer in BB are lead us to scenes anyway), the only thing that we can count on is an powerfull antagonist. The game must be interesting.
