Looking at that wallpaper the first thing that jumps out to me is that whole shiny/glistening skin thing that always irks me (makes the models look like they're made out of rubber). So in that regard I actually like the current renders a whole lot more than that.^^

I don't see the drop off. Especially by the volume that you've claimed it's dropped by. Quite the contrary in fact, a lot of the in game renders have increased slightly in visual quality since it's release and it started in 0.3. He just happened to go the extra mile for that one Alice wallpaper because it was a patreon perk if I recall. The renders haven't changed. Lisa's swimsuit render (0.2) is the same quality as the one with her topless (0.5). The texture and shading just look a bit different. Having said all of that, BB is still one of the most visually pleasing games on this site.

Majority of the images is ready—there will be more than in 0.4, btw—so I can already say what will be in the next version.
Couple of days I've started a poll for $40 patron what would they'd prefer to see in 0.5: achievements system or more events with mom. Surprisingly, over 90% have chosen new events. So, the achievements system is postponed for now. On the other hand, I'll have more time to think about improving the system to make it more interesting and more useful for players.
Now, about new content. I've spent a lot of time on Lisa. For a boyfriend route and for Olivia route. Now I can say that I have finally implemented some ideas I wanted to implement from the very beginning. There's also a small surprise with Alice, but she has receives minimum attention in this version.
There's finally an option to get rid of Eric in 0.5. Maybe even two, if I'll have the time. If Eric is gone then mom will lose her job. 0.5 won't have that, because I'll have to rewrite a lot of character's schedules, add a lot of new events and images. So it will all happen in 0.6.
In a couple of days I'll make images for new events with mom. I was planning to make them in the future, but I already have an opportunity to add them in the game.
Oh, and there will be some new events, including sex. Who'll do whom, though ... Well, I guess "who" is Max. But "whom" ... You'll see

In other news, my question about Eric has been answered. There will be content after getting rid of him, which sort of went without saying, but still. But now the game feels like it just became that much bigger since now he'll have to adjust for his absence.

Woh, that was a nice read. Mom gets more love, a way to kick Eric out. And some replay on certain scenes, nice! How you make the money is gonna be interesting idd. Don't know how hard it will be, but it will be worth it. Unless a nasty suprise has been planned if we kick him out.
I think the game opens up alot more without Eric, and definatly does not mean the end of the game. There is still alot of relation to build with the girls. Alot of stuff seem to be going forward with the next update.
How he can be suprised by the result of the poll beats me, maybe he is being sarcastic. People want content over fluff. We shall se how it goes.

Two pic from previous versions, the same poses, only topless... I'm starting to worry about the future version of the game...
It's logical continue of main quest for mom, don't worry, game will game new content!
It makes sense. I'd much rather see him reuse a pose with different clothing than spend the time making a nice new pose for every small variation.
Also glad that he's spending a little time on the Mother. Her scenes have definitely been my favorite out of everyone's even though she has the least content of anyone in the family. I just hope he doesn't turn her submissive because the whole authoritarian/punishment/non-hardcore domination (no leather suits or bondage which we know DS loves so much) is hot as hell and sets her apart from the other girls.
