You're talking 2 updates ahead and no. Most likely what you do to get rid of eric will probably something that will piss him off and so in anger he fires your mom so she'll be pissed at you and you'll have to earn the money that the mom can no longer earn because of your actions. Plus your relation shall suffer a lot from this and you'll have to recover from it. It's quite a nice thought from Dark Silver and I'll give him props (I mean if the idea is this one), since there will still be a handicap for regular players (i.e money), but thanks to our modders we won't face that problem Still we're talking 2 updates ahead.

I agree. It is a great idea to have repercussions in getting rid of Eric, instead of him just leaving. What I'm curious about is the friendship line with Eric that Dark Silver mentioned. I doubt i'll take that route (I don't want to lose any of the girls), but i'm worried that their will be to many various routes and the progress will be spread to thinly among them.

This is what I thought when I read that comment. Surely he cant actually believe people would prefer pointless and annoying achievements over more actual content. However, I guess he did also think that his paying customers wanted him to spend his time on DRM, making it harder for them to play the game.

I am guessing thats from a "befriending olivia and/or alex" route rather than convincing your sister to forget about alex, or part of you befriending Olivia yourself. If you don't want him there, its totally avoidable already,.... its just an alternative route for those that want to do something different,... and I am totally happy with that.

That's my thoughts too. I'm find with it, and it is avoidable as you say, but some people want all the girls, and no other guys should be even allowed to smell the girls hair. I guess the dev could add the option for Lisa to befriend Olivia as well as date the MC.

I've actually scrapped that save, as I wanted to slightly change some earlier choices. However, by following the 0.3 walkthrough, it's pretty quick and easy to get back to that path. The key to that for me was going to war with Eric from the first bedroom talk, dating Lisa, giving Eric the pills each visit and having enough income to keep paying Alice and Mom.

That is a interesting thought. And might be how he wants to play it. But on the other hand, why would she be mad at Max if he expose Eric for being a lying bastard? Eric has lied to Ann about his name, and of all the other potential stuff he could be doing in the house. With knowing his name, Max might find out about other shady and bad stuff Eric has done before. She should not be mad, but of course be sad about losing her job. In my eyes if she turns to Max and blames him for losing her job by exposing Eric for what he is. Then her personality is truly horrible. Atleast that is my take on it.

About the render topic: very low contrast, almost no specularity to speak of, 1/2 lightsources tops, a weird Photoshop filter slapped on them to mask the simplicity of the setup. They ARE getting less elaborate; if you guys like the result more, that's another matter entirely, I do not argue matters of personal taste.


Now speaking about content, i'm very excited! It seems that Liza will REALLY get some love on this update, and high time for that. I don't expect her to be the one to finally get down to business with the MC (Olivia maybe?), but it's nice nonetheless. ^^

I would imagine it's to get faster at rendering the scenes, without a huge drop in quality that most these games have. Possibly cheating the effects in photoshop like you say, but at least the resolution and clarity is still there.

Hopefully it's not too easy, or it will be boring, as there will be no antagonist. Looking forward to some story and maybe a repeat revenge appearance later in the game. I feel it would be more fun to keep him around, and ruin his confidence further. Already he has been rendered impotent in 0.4. He lost the sisters, lost the aunt, can't shag the Mom due to the medication, and has zero power over MC. Making it so the mom no longer visits his house, and maybe so MC has some power over Eric for the rest of the game could be interesting.

That way you'd be able to watch anything that Eric forbids you to see (withouth him knowing about it). Hell! you could even record Eric fucking Alice or any family member, and blame everything on Eric(blaming him not only about fucking your family members, but also about putting hidden cams all over the house).

If there were ever a plot hole, this would be it. I've been asking myself this same question every time I play it. Why risk getting caught when you can just watch on the cams. What, 3 updates into using the cams and this has yet to be implemented. I'm wondering if it even crossed DS's mind at this point. The voyeur is strong with this game so the most obvious way to follow through with the fetish is just to watch the cams. But nope. Gotta risk getting caught against crazy odds. I feel sorry for those who play this game unmodded some times. Gives me a headache just thinking bout it

Woh, that was a nice read. Mom gets more love, a way to kick Eric out. And some replay on certain scenes, nice! How you make the money is gonna be interesting idd. Don't know how hard it will be, but it will be worth it. Unless a nasty suprise has been planned if we kick him out.

I think the game opens up alot more without Eric, and definatly does not mean the end of the game. There is still alot of relation to build with the girls. Alot of stuff seem to be going forward with the next update.

How he can be suprised by the result of the poll beats me, maybe he is being sarcastic. People want content over fluff. We shall se how it goes.

I think he was surprised because the achievements will actually unlock stuff, kind of like unlockable cheats...or something like that. For people with the mod it certainly doesn't mean much. But for some of the patreons voting who don't know of the mod it probably would have been a welcome addition. I just like the fact that they aren't just empty trophies and will actually do something once implemented (I forget which update this was stated in, if anyone knows feel free to link it).
All that being said, I'm all for Lisa's path finally leading to something. Pretty sure she's the person DS is refering to is Lisa, (possibly with Aunt watching/teaching from pics I've seen in this post).

Probably you forgot the Wallet. There has to be a opportunity in the near future to get rid of Eric. And perhaps you can arrest him or threaten him to do so that he leaves or, or, or. I'm thrilled to think about all the opportunitys...
