Just going off what other people have said. I read on Discord that MakerSupport uses both PayPal and Stripe.


Graphtreon uses Patreon's API...

"Grapthreon uses Patreon's API" > legit thing.
"We are in a forum with people saying they crack games, I have not to tell 'em how to check how much are the earnings" > I'm not talking about regular use of Patreon's API.
So if MakerSupport uses both, he could use Stripe and bypass the problem, am I wrong? ^^
I'm analyzing all aspects about this behaviour is because personally I liked the game, even if he was coming out with "one news per-release" (and that was not really pro related to the income). But there are no excuses, it is another Nergal-like behaviour. These kind of things usually happens on Patreon. :\

No, you're not wrong, but DS has sent them an e-mail and is waiting for that to be answered before deciding what to do.

Well, whatever method you use, Graphtreon's guess is much more likely than yours. DS has commented on his earnings a while back on this forum that he wishes he'd earn 30k a month (someone said DS earned 30k a month and he replied to it). 90k a month is an absolutely ridiculous claim.

Nobody knows if darksilver will post it, he has changed project to develop.

Big Brother its officially over Dark Silver Announced on Patreon maybe will upgrade it in some or distant future. He starting new project called Glamour more info visit his site on Patreon. But he said he will publish Big Brother v0.13 and i think he said will be free.
He will stay on Patreon although many others abandoned Patreon some stayed, i guess more profitable, after all everything its all about profit and personal interest unfortunately. If anyone finds out when or what website will be published v0.13 pls let me know. Till the next time Greetings Fellas!

He's working on it, but it takes time. Finding a payment processor that allows the content that DS wants to make is difficult.
Hopefully soon he'll have his own site up and running so he isn't limited by Patreon.

Actually it isn't...There are literally MILLIONS (Maybe even Billions) of Porn sites who have all managed to accept payments for access to porn content without Paypal acceptance. And some of those sites features subject matter that includes Incest, Rape, Abuse and all these other very dark sexual subjects.
This idea of your that this is all about PayPal or that PayPal is the only way to collect subscriptions is just flat out wrong!
Even if it were difficult to get Paypal to give you an account based on the content you were offering it is easy as pie to set up a 3rd Party Reseller system who could take payments via Paypal and send the money onto the developer through other channels that Paypal would never know about.

Truth is Patreon may be the most popular place to find this type of content now...But it won't be for long if they keep banning projects from appearing on their site and censoring subject matter.

There ARE other sites out there developers could move to, Just because you have never heard of them or just because they don't have the BRAND NAME that Patreon has doesn't mean they are not a good alternative.

Because if enough Devs abandon Patreon for that new service that new service will become THE PLACE TO BE and Patreon will be just last weeks version of Myspace!

Mmh no, I'm not switching over mate. I'm just trying to have more than one supplier/customer. Since I'm starting to make this one my job (I'm quitting my job on February 14th) it's just reasonable I take all steps to ensure my new business to succeed. And having just one customer/supplier it's unwise to say the least...

Ok my conclusion is that DS fully embraced this "opportunity" as an excuse to stop developing BB - he has no fresh ideas for it (honestly several branches went nowhere - Olivia, Doctor and waitress), seems like he's excited for Glamour and has something figured out that gets him excited for that project.
Wish I could say the same - female MC... just... nah.

Imho it's a bad development approach. Put everything in without completing anything. I've realized it working on my project, so we changed the development way modulizing game parts in blocks and completing features one by one. It's so sad that a so promising game has been dead. :\

No DS was told to remove the game completely as was MrDots, do not pass go do not collect $200. BB was either to be removed or his patreon was being removed.
