DarkSilver, if you make the changes and complete the game you're showing your fan base you're commited to finishing your games no matter what. That goes a long way. Also if you make Big Brother legal you can add it to your portfolio, which can be beneficial later.

I'm not saying you should do it, but it definitely has its benefits.

Why does he have to continue with BB no matter what? He's making a living off of Patreon, he wants to continue to make a living off of Patreon. The fact that you want him to do it and risk everything is incredibly fucked up.

We must also think how this must be affecting DS, since he has to give up on a project that started his pateron. It must be hard . And I think everyone here needs a to calm down. Be happy with DS is publishing a modderfriendly version of BB 0.13 for free. That's more than a lot of other dev's else would do!

English is not my native language, but I will try to express my opinion, even if it is similar to what has already been said.
Estimating how many sponsors you had and that you have a team to develop the game, not just you alone, you could release updates for more. If you really appreciated your sponsors. But from the side it is clear that they deliberately delayed and this is understandable. Everyone wants a lot of money, for a minimum of work.
You have already offered a lot of option. You could just remake the beginning of the game, and in the remaining scenes only the text that Max is not the son of Anne. And instead of completing all the storylines, you decided to start a new game, more accurately transfer the old, also not completed. And there I am sure you will milk money too. And when the entire storyline goes too far, you will find a way to stop and start something new.
Digital game, this is not a real thing, not as a drug, it can be changed.
If you were alone, without a team, then you could be admired, now, you are throwing everything. I hope you do not do this with Glamor. Otherwise you will be the signs, but in a different direction.

The majority of the other characters are also related. Then they would have to go through all the script to make changes to fit the new relationships.

I'm personally on Dark Silvers' side. Especially this far in. Better to start fresh, then to risk being on Patreons radar. It was fun while it lasted, now it's time to move on. Yes change can be scary. I personally am not into the whole female protagonist in adult games. But then again, I didn't think I would like adult games based on incest.

I'm going to give it a chance. As a matter of fact I'm going the extra mile. As soon as I get some things sorted out, I will become a patron to Dark Silver.

Maybe sell in a country where it's legal? For example, Weed is illegal in other states but you could open a shop and sell legally in Colorado.

They take over illegal BB and adjust it to legal BB ,so patreon won't ban their page(maybe with secret incest patch).

And Patreon is not a Kickstarted. I collected money monthly and promised for a monthly releases. Currenly my page says "Glamour" and I'm collecting money for Glamour.
