So is Big Brother now abandoned since the creator is working on Glamour? Or are they working on both?

New Glamour is a completely redone version of previous one so I wouldn't really judge on a basis of game he made years ago. When it comes to UI and playability he has proven to be on point with BB. It's hard to say anything for now about Glamour. It might be extremally good or bad. Better for us if it's good
@Ignazzio if you are right, then I will apologize for it... everyone is learning and if the game is rewritten with new concept, skills then maybe it will be worth looking at... I am not saying it can not be done, I am looking at what was delivered ... the future is not known to me, too..

Big Brother is going to be "suspended" after version 0.13 because Patreon changed their policy and incest contents aren't allowed anymore. DS and his team say they will work on the "new" game (which actually an old game that was dropped long ago) called Glamour.
My take on this: DS basically doesn't like the game and use this as an excuse to trash the game completely. Anyone who has some kind of brain will see this.
Why? Just look at this at the top of f95:
Other games' devs are still making their games with incest-free and release a patch to restore the incest content, which is really really easy and simple task to do. DS somehow doesn't do this, instead, he is dropping the game completely?
To say he is "forced" to suspend the game is plain ignorance. He knows he hates the game and he just takes the opportunity Patreon gave him to drop the game for good without looking bad in front of thousands of his subscribers.
Edit: My point is, there are many other alternative solutions for this. Other devs are still making their games either on Patreon on other sites. Only DS drops his.

DMD was doing that, and then it got the hammer, too. I think it's going to depend on how high-profile the dev is and how many people want to go looking for stuff to report to Patreon's Trust and Safety team.

Dating my daughter dev left Patreon because of his policy, you're the one who is not willing to see. Why would DS throw Big Brother, game that gives him a lot of profit? He will only lose his patrons because of that.

I wonder how much of that monthly patreon money actually arrives to the devs, I mean, in my country with 10k a month you are considered highly paid, and things here are more expensive than in USA, food, clothing, etc. I'd never stop doing this stuff if I was getting the money they do, so this devs get rich or what ?

I am not saying it is the best way to handle things, my point is that other devs are still making their game, either on Patreon with patches or some other sites. Only DS drops his game.

This is what fake news truly means. You put up a banner claiming to be a 'Summary for the uniformed' when in all reality, you need more information for yourself.
To get you up to speed, yes, for now, BB will be put on the back burner because of a crackdown on DS about incest - DS words, not mine. This isn't a new crackdown but DS has gotten swept up in this current wave. It appears these hits on developers come on the heels of dissatisfied patrons or other 'warriors' that hide behind their computer screens because they feel empowered to be the cyber 'vigilante'.
As for your 'Lewd Patcher' point, Sherlock, yes we know this has been a route that developers are taking, but it appears that Patreon knows, or probably more acturately, the cowardly cyber vigilantes point out how developers are circumventing Patreon rules. As for earlier comments about just adding the word 'step' to the relation, that all would be all good, but my gods, this has been discussed to death earlier. As far as Patreon sees it, still no good - I know LightAngels, you didn't suggest this but it amazes me that others still think that this is a viable option. Mr Dots was told by Patreon that all reference to DmD and associated art had to be taken down. I can understand if DS sees that the current statis quo is no longer viable and honestly fears for his revenue steam.
In case you aren't aware, others have been adding to the conversation by pointing to other platforms to host these developers that is similar to the Patreon model. One that has been argued about over is Hatreon and another one called MakerSupport. While Hatreon is obvious, both are outlets appear to be created to help 'right' wing commentaries to be available to those who want access to them - apparently Youtube and other platforms are cutting off their access. Is this the day when developers need to lay down with the nazis because they, the developers, are rounded up by the morality police? Maybe...that would be an excellent discussion in my opinion.
As for your informed opinion that, 'DS is lazy, hates his game, was looking for any excuse to drop because he lost interest,' well that's your opinion, and welcome to the flock, sheep. Go back the past 30 pages or so, and I would guesstimate that about 1 in 3 posts before your's said roughly the same thing.
I apologize to everyone, including the mods watching this thread who are probably just itching to tell everyone to shut-up already. My piece is done. I'll just go back to lurking in the background...

And when something is personal opinion, it can be translated by readers based on their views of the situation. It was never meant to be facts, hence "personal opinion". And phrase your post to make my post sounds like I am writing it as facts so you have to chime in and write the real truth? Actualy he didn't do that.He put the way to restore the incest in the game itself,not in another server.Not to mention he explain how to do it.

Yes he is releasing the work he has for the most part completed. And I applaud him for that. My only criticism is that he did seem to give up rather easily. Most Authors of story I know are so committed to the story that they find other venues to finish their story even in the face of cancellation by a network. (Think of a show getting cancelled on NBC and moving to Netflix.)
He is now going back to a game he previously abandoned!
It tends to show a pattern that he doesn't always complete what he starts. That is a bad reputation for a developer to have as bad as a Contractor who starts but never finishes the remodeling job he started.
And people who might patronize will most likely take that into account.
One word....MONEY!

Better would be:
Gambling is Illegal in New York State and they close your casino, so you need to move the Casino to Nevada where there are no rules against gambling!
Or if you want to stick with the drug motif, Selling Pot in New York is illegal, but if you move your operations to Colorado or Washington you can continue to sell your product.
What is really odd about your decision is it is easier to make your own site than it is to re-write the game to fit Patreon's guidelines. But you have only seemed to consider re-writing vs abandonment.
And it looks bad considering your fallback option is going back to re-write some other game you abandoned previously.

The game is good, though I have to say, that I don't like two things:
-Time consuming grinding/awaiting time (I think that the second option is more annoying to me)
-I feel like the renders (even though their quality is really good) are lacking in some parts. Like there should be more focus on the characters and their body parts. For example, when character is fucking Alice in the ass, while shooting a porn scene, I would like to see the action closely, from different perspective. I could say, that in this matter, the renders from some mods are somewhat superior.

it's not fake news since he put it as his opinion, what he said under "Summary for the uniformed" is actually accurate
after the summary, he literally say "my take on this:". So everything after he says that is his opinion and he is entitled to it
Guys don't worry. @a1fox3 will write an even better story and @FunFiction makes better renders than Ds, so we are blessed.
