Summary for the uninformed:
Big Brother is going to be "suspended" after version 0.13 because Patreon changed their policy and incest contents aren't allowed anymore. DS and his team say they will work on the "new" game (which actually an old game that was dropped long ago) called Glamour.
My take on this: DS basically doesn't like the game and use this as an excuse to trash the game completely. Anyone who has some kind of brain will see this.

Other games' devs are still making their games with incest-free on Patreon and release a patch to restore the incest content, which is really really easy and simple task to do. DS somehow doesn't do this, instead, he is dropping the game completely?
To say he is "forced" to suspend the game is plain ignorance. He knows he hates the game and he just takes the opportunity Patreon gave him to drop the game for good without looking bad in front of thousands of his subscribers.

To get you up to speed, yes, for now, BB will be put on the back burner because of a crackdown on DS about incest - DS words, not mine. This isn't a
new crackdown but DS has gotten swept up in this current wave. It
appears these hits on developers come on the heels of dissatisfied patrons or other 'warriors' that hide behind their computer screens because they feel empowered to be the cyber 'vigilante'.
As for your 'Lewd Patcher' point, Sherlock, yes we know this has been a route that developers are taking,
but it appears that Patreon knows, or probably more acturately, the cowardly cyber vigilantes point out how developers are circumventing Patreon rules. As for earlier comments about just adding the word 'step' to the relation, that all would be all good, but my gods, this has been discussed to death earlier. As far as Patreon sees it, still no good - I know LightAngels, you didn't suggest this but it amazes me that others still think that this is a viable option. Mr Dots was told by Patreon that
all reference to DmD and associated art had to be taken down. I can understand if DS sees that the current statis quo is no longer viable and honestly fears for his revenue steam.
In case you aren't aware, others have been adding to the conversation by pointing to other platforms to host these developers that is similar to the Patreon model. One that has been argued about over is Hatreon and another one called MakerSupport. While Hatreon is obvious, both are outlets appear to be created to help 'right' wing commentaries to be available to those who want access to them - apparently Youtube and other platforms are cutting off their access. Is this the day when developers need to lay down with the nazis because they, the developers, are rounded up by the morality police? Maybe...that would be an excellent discussion in my opinion.
As for your
informed opinion that, 'DS is lazy, hates his game, was looking for any excuse to drop because he lost interest,' well that's your opinion, and welcome to the flock, sheep. Go back the past 30 pages or so, and I would guesstimate that about 1 in 3 posts before your's said roughly the same thing.
