The community pushing to get rid of Eric was a sore point for me. Eric was the antagonist that gave the story purpose and made it interesting. It got boring after the removal, and all that time spent doing so, meant the Eric side didn't get much more content. I was looking forward to a long battle between Eric and Max, and watching Max learn from it as he went. It's pretty obvious from context that Max's father is only marginally better than Eric. He had to get rid of the house quickly in order to avoid
One mystery we are left with is how did Eric find out about the agreement between Lisa and Max, regarding sex-ed. Did he install his own cams (with sound) in the rooms?
If so, that opens the question. If Eric got away from those after him (i.e., he's not sitting at the bottom of a lake somewhere), would he still be able to keep tabs on the family?
It's very likely Eric realised what Max was doing and did some snooping.
