Did he redo the images from the last update, or just improve new ones going forward?

Good question. We have made the suggestion, to improve also the images from for example Mom, which have been already posted. But... I don't know if he or his new designer will change something

Been busy , 0.5 not finished and not started on 0.6.Not sure I wanna start. I have already felt something off during 0.4 onwards.
I used to laugh at ppl saying DS doing some kinda of conspiracy shitz theory , now , i am not so sure...
Being the plot being non linear is an understatement , the plot is being twisted at 90 degree right angle . Innately I always feel something is off when DS got rid of Eric prematurely after almost half the game is built on him. But I thought it was just DS bowing down to all those alpha-male so called NTR haters. If you guys have been following all forums and thread , you will realize this alpha male group are actually quite aggressive to the point of very confrontational , sometimes even threatening to some pt for their game character's sole possession of sexual acts of all the game girls.
Imagine my perplexity , when you can get rid of Eric , but DS introduce Alex in 0.5. And the insinuation that sweet Lisa being drugged by Alex??? I was like wtf was DS doing? thats sure gonna kick up another storm. No bloody way those alpha males gonna let sweet Lisa fall into the hands of Alex in such way. And he will not be able to complete this story and another time wasted on a route that cannot be completed.
Then it struck me.. from all the patreons posts and forum posts .. Olivia path unexpected right angle turned into become the typical visual novel non sensical "my bf aint good enough, you are better and lets do some 3some " crapz with drugger Alex suddenly conveniently out of the way.
The same thing is happening to Ann now , is she gonna be in a porn movie for all to see? Is she gonna be screwed by porn actors? Well only you guys can save her (she is your mom you know?). He is ransoming the characters to the over zealous alpha males. He is not letting the patreon dictate the path of the game, he is creating the crisis plot and let those he know cannot stand how the story goes save them. BUT...like @TC said u wanna save her? well I can hear you abit at $20 , but maybe not that well , but I hear you very well at $40.. if those 40 bucks are loud enough , you know , you can save them..
Its one thing to listen to your patreons on how the story goes, but its another thing to take advantage of your patreons' weakness and keep pitfalling them into your money trap. I have stop my contribution to DS. I like his work hence patronage , but his insidious way of "endangering" his game characters and ransoming 40 bucks for their "safety" is dastardly unscrupulous. Not only its uncool , the butchering of story linearity into the ransom submission is destroying the game. I have no doubt that eventually Alice can avoid being targeted by Eric even when you take the "sacrifice" opportunity , IF the price is right.
And I like to take the opportunities to thank @Scale and all the moderators for their efforts , seeing the back posts make me really makes me feel bad taking them for granted. I really appreciated you guys effort from the bottom of my heart.

In my playthrough I pretty much went out of my way to make all the "wrong" choices for Alice, I've already "given" her to Eric once (though nothing really happened so far), now the last update suggests that we'll be able to trade her in a second time (???), this time for Mom...
If somehow despite all of my choices she still ends up as another mindless bimbo (like Lisa or Mom) who just wants Max's dick I'll be pissed.
i totally have to agree with @3xpurt and @neodtst
i can't understand all those haters, which are driving the game into another random harem game. there are plenty of them out there already and then BB came with a twist and real game behind the pictures, where you have real competition.
i don't know where the game is going, but the last versions and the current pics for the new one are not the direction i was hoping the game would take. the decisions are kind of meaningless now, if they don't have real consequences for max
i hated the camp game over, i hoped it would be more like you win the girls or eric does (or alex in the lisa routes)
now it's kinda boring as it is.

This game has six paths, each one can choose yours, the changes that are made from now on, I don't believe there will be many, DS will try to do the minimum not to lose the patrons, I saw people talking in one site about another Game that is copying the BB, I believe that the new games that are being created will use the DAZ3D and will try to make it successful. Not everything is created, it is simply copied. What makes a good game is originality, and this is the hardest.
Too much paths means stupid.
The game would be so much more well written with one linear path.
Come on it's a pretext of porn, not The Witcher 3, why does so many people care about having choices and paths ?

Everything I didn't want before, looks like it's going to happen in the next version, bad quality, bad history, visual change and no definite route, I don't believe I have to stop playing again. You are once again right Charolastra.
Except he was given that power by the creator for the money.
I have given DS 100's of dollars, one of the promised perks was making choices on the outcome. I appreciate the complaints, I have plenty of my own, but the patreons are not the problem, Alpha males are not the problem, eric lovers and Eric haters......are not the problem. DS is the one you should all be emailing. He either needs to do better in convincing the players, change the 40 reward or stop doing polls. However, as long as he asks for my input I will put my interests first and many of you will be unhappy. I will not feel guilty that "your vision of the game" has been ruined. Almost everyone will have some issues, I just hope I will have less complaints at the end of the day by voicing mine to the creator.
