You can kill me for this suggestion... But wouldnt it be fair to wait at least one single day to upload the pirated version here? If even out of respect for the people who support his work and DS himself?

It wouldn't really matter though would it? I mean we're still getting for free what they donate $40 a month for. Whether its done immediately or a day later the outcome is still the same. Is it really showing respect to delay it one day?

To be honest, me too. (I support DS, but 40$ is too much for me.) But there is this one guy, a 40$ supporter, who provides the version for the upload in this forum.I wouldn't even mind to wait couple of weeks. But as soon as it is posted I grub it
In my opinion it would be fair if he would wait at least a single day till publishing the new version - out of respect and for our all benefit. After all this is piracy and DS is living from the supporters. He is not an unknown profit oriented company but an honest guy who employs more people working on the project with the money to make the game better. If the new version is published instantly for free, fewer people will support him and we all get less content in the end.

This site has helped many dev to increase there patreons.How do you think adult game flourish? If you ask anyone they will say i came from watching it in a pirated site.

Y true. Not sure how many ppl jump around on Patron or where ever and cant wait to see where they can waste money on. Usually those games can be find only on few places ether private porn sites (where i came from) or forums like this one (i think is non like it). And when we come we stay

I agree. Man of the House is a good example of this, just follow the increase of patreons in the Faerin page (and by the way, is doing a great job). The truth is that gaming piracy is only to separate the wheat from the chaff, and the number of patrons and goals reached by DarkSilver and Lewdlab only prove this.
I usually try before I patronize...Especially for a game at the early levels of pre-alpha content where there isn't much to judge on other than renders and engine. And it may take a few versions before I see the direction or content I think is worth supporting. But even then, the prices on the tiers for early download are not worth paying in most cases. So I support at a level that will eventually earn me access to the game and just play the version here.
I supported The Twist at early release tier for a few months but when I reached a certain point ($60) I reduced my support to $1 a month and play the pirate version instead.
Good Developers deserve to be supported, but not everyone can afford to pay for first look. Playing the pirated version earlier than your support allows is not disrespecting or costing the Developer money because if you couldn't afford to pay that much, they wouldn't be getting that money anyway!
If anyone is worried about compensating the Dev they SHOULD (and I do encourage you) go to the Patreon site, make a pledge you can afford and play guilt free!
Kind of reminds of me of a story I heard from an artist a while back. Someone asked him how you best show your appreciation for an artist. Do you tell your friends? Follow them on Facebook? etc...
"You want to show an artist you appreciate their work? Pay them."
I have been pirating software since the days of the 300 baud Modem!!!!
And our (pirate) position was always that if you like the product and use it, then buy a copy to keep the person who made it in business and making MORE things you might like and use.
Piracy is a great Try before you buy method of weeding out the crap.
Sometimes a program is good but I have no need for it...Or I only use it once...
But because I tried it out and saw it was good when someone asks me what program to get that does something I can steer them to the good product.
Something the Music industry forgets is that when bands are starting out it is usually piracy that gets their music heard and distributed to the masses that builds the eventual audience who will buy their product!
I think forums like this serve DS to quickly fix bugs that it does not see in time for early release so that the official release, that is, October 7, who downloads the game will have it with the stable updates that we find and say promptly in forum ..... another thing ... I think developers are very relying on this forum also to evolve personally and professionally as we always provide new ideas on stories about how they should evolve and which road they should take ... moreover there are fanarts who often provide ideas that have already been made and that DS should just take it and put it in the game .... so I think that piracy just makes it great and that it is aware of it and that it takes advantage of this situation .. .. another thing ..... share your knowing why what i do not know i know you !!! a big greeting at all!
This is one damn good game. Fu*k Battlefield, Rainbow six, Gta5, Witcher 3 and that staff.
If i had money i would pay this guy allot. Not 40$ much more. Evan that i know for posibility to download a free version.

As a $40 pledge, it does not bother me at all to see it here the same day. Only change I would like to see is the mods getting updated faster. I came here because I wanted a modded version of BB over a year ago.

The Romans had a saying, "De gustibus non est disputandum." It translates as "regarding taste, there can be no argument." It carries a similar sentiment to "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Personally, I would say that Lisa is my favorite character, but I also like Alice and Ann. I find the Olivia and Lisa route hotter than the Lisa girlfriend route, even if it has less content at the moment. My least favorite girl at the moment is Kate. I find Kira at this point to be pretty boring. She is more of a McGuffin than a character. Still, I would greatly like to see her character fleshed out and more content with her added.
Still, DS has done a great job with this game, and I can certainly see why others would have different views than myself.
