Game seems to of gone stale over last couple of updates, the pace is trickling along, I think I will leave it for a while and come back in a couple of months to see if it is worth continuing, Kira has had more success in game than Max, the only person she hasn’t slept with in the family yet is Alice, she has slept with Max, mom, Eric and LIsa

Oh, I would agree it was a small minority but it was vocal. In fact it still is. After death of Eric's route pressure is damn high so I can't see a way for DS to use any male character without outrage. That's why I believe Alex role has been changed significantly to remove him as fast as possible. He was mentioned so many times before, DS was often using his name instead of Max even on his Patreon summary that it's hard to believe for me that he was planning to ditch him after 3-4 minor scenes. It was the moment when E. was mentioned everywhere so for me it's a rational guess. Moreover plot on that part feels more irrational and forced than anywhere - Lisa looks for romance so she choose to ditch boy she likes to fuck with her brother and friend; and Alex who just leaves and feels offended by a girl he would easily fuck in a month. That's just my opinion but I find it realistic. Now it doesn't really matter
just keep putting spiders in her bed until you can sleep with her, but after she gets mad at you for groping her....wait a few days before you try again. Eventually you will be able to remove all of her clothing and get the hand job. It takes several times sleeping in her bed to get that far and after it happens....it happens everytime you sleep with her.
That same quote comes when giving Alice leg massages with Candy in the lounge, before getting her to lose her bottoms. She wishes that Max wasn't her brother.

I will have to very carefully check that out again because I remember something like that.
They are both materialistic tbh. After all one of the first things Lisa 'demands' is 1000$ before she'll consider it - and then there is the whole jewelry route.
I feel that Eric was the character that interested DS. Once Eric became his albatross, DS lost interest. Now you see a poorly organized game with diminishing returns. If he had a true story, he could hire a writer and some other folks. Relax and just fix or direct their work. But lacking a vision he makes it up. I get defensive when patreons are blamed. No matter what we advocated it was DS that decided what poll options to give us. I also feel Eric's main failure is based on when he was added. At that time cameras were still broke etc
So you could be his friend, he still treated you like shit and even cheated you. You could fight him and get basically the same scenes. So he became an irritating time sink more than a challenge or even interesting. If there had been more work put into his branch or perhaps a different focus of priorities, perhaps there would of been a different response. The game failures and successes all belong to DS, folks need to stop blaming anyone else. I am pulling my 40, i have spent to much on this game and the updates are getting weaker.

I'm not blaming anyone except for DS and ofc it's not even anything I can be serious about as it's his game. My point in that case was just that Alex is another victim of emotions. I already described my problem with BB here and I do agree that it's mostly DS fault he gave up on his ideas and let emotional crowd rule his game design. His design integrity at this point is non-existent. Friend route with Eric you mentioned is still the same as it was and it cannot be finished. If there is a route dev cannot finish it means there was some serious development issue. There are plenty of different games here but this is the first one I've seen which have this issue. Putting it simple I think that whole plotline has been changed cuz of this initial outrage and BB is not something DS would create himself as, in my opinion, he's just not into incest.
