one thing that surprises me about this game is that even the characters have all sorts of sexual activities, they never kiss... isn't that weird?

Maybe but i think 1st person kissing in these game is weird. MotH has 1st person kissing and 3rd person sex.

While I do work in a law firm, I am unfortunately not DS' lawyer. And you seem to be completely missing my point. The purpose of my posts is not to defend DS, it is to educate patrons to not be fooled by being a patron while hoping for something in return that was never promised to begin with. In a way, I'm trying to make you see your faults so you can make better decision in the future.


And you got your update from the beginning of your patronage to the end of your patronage. So once again, what is actually the problem? Did he take your money and not provide the update? No. Have you donated money for 0.14? No. Had he ever promised to develop and release 0.14 and take your money for it? No. You donated from 0.2 to 0.13. He provided you with 0.2 to 0.13. You donated, he fulfilled his obligation to you.


You're confusing two very different things. I didn't say that developers have no obligation. What I said (in this DS case) is that DS has no obligation to finish BB because your patronage is not for BB's completion. Your patronage is for month-to-month update. That's why DS never said "For $40, I'd complete the game" and instead "For $40, you get so and so perks" which he delivered. Your patronage is not to complete the game, it is to provide consistent monthly updates.

It even said so on his Patreon page goal: "As soon as this goal is met, we can work full-time and release new versions of the game on a regular basis." You don't see anywhere that he said "As soon as this goal is met, we can complete the game"

I'm not buying your MONEY GRABBING Greed infested idea of what Patreon is.
Neither do I support your concept that MILKING for money is a honest business practice.
But then again you are a Lawyer so you don't really have much in the ethics department and fair business to you is whatever you can semantically get away with!

As to my point which you seem to ignore....
People paid (AND ARE STILL PAYING) for BB on Patreon!
They probably also paid for Glamour when that was abandoned and he switched to milking them for BB instead.

If his history is any indication, a year from now we will be talking about how he abandoned Glamour (a second time) to focus on some other Milk Truck he decides to make when he loses interest in Glamour again.

And you will be here to defend him as it is his right to walk away from any project at any time without even the decency to shut off all patreons who are still paying him for BB but have yet to cancel.

They aren't paying for BB, I'm not sure how you got that idea. When people become a patron for DS, they are granted early access, not access. Plus the name of the patreon is, and has been for ages, 'Dark Silver is creating Adult Games' - meaning it's pretty obvious for anyone who isn't brain dead to understand it's to help out him.

If you don't like that he has stopped working on a particular game, protest to him, or stop being a patron. If people are stupid enough to think they are paying for BB instead of supporting Dark Silver, that's their issue. I don't see why you think you should be able to dictate how other people spend their money.

Did you ever try to kiss a prostitute without asking/paying for this option? Well, kissing is for lovers and DS did not want to mash up sexual greed between family members and having a true romance, I guess.

But now that you mention it, that's something to reason about

Alice is kind of evil indeed and that's why I like it. Personally I think she could have been the second antagonist in the game after Eric left your house, using blackmail as a weapon to get what she wants including you.

Another second possible antagonist could have been the vixen that is the girlfriend of Eric, she could have been bisexual and trying to bed you and your family and manipulate you all.

Let's say circumstances forced him to abandon the game.

This is what i got.you install the dmg file and it works immediately.it runs 95% of renpy games the two rgm MV games i play and MOTH but since it doesnt run BB and games with random engines like the "timestamps unconditional love" i am not optimistic it can run a lot of unity.if i remember right it is based on 32 bit windows

I've tried WineBottler, Wineskin Winery (with Wine and Wine Staging engines) and PlayOnMac. I have the same problem with all 3 - the top left corner of the graphics is in the middle of the window, so a big chunk is offscreen. No useful solutions found via google.
