I think you are missing @a1fox3 point....
Both characters are nothing but complete scum...
And if that is an issue for someone perhaps their angst should be towards the person who made them both that way. Instead of trying to pick on and say he is better because he is less of a dbag.

As for the difference between Eric and Max, Max does love his family...Eric is a con artist and doesn't love anyone in that family just wants to fuck them while he cons them out of their house. He wouldn't even tell them his real name.

Max maybe a perv but the other is a crook. And it would seem you think wanting incest is more evil than being a crook.
I would disagree.

The entire game was mostly creep sex with very little love and no romance to be found.
DS has said many times he found it hard to put romance or love into these relationships.

One question : I have seen that a picture of version 0.13 shows Lisa used a sex toys with Kira. Do we seen Max deflower his little sister before ?

DS said that this is the end...... Big Brother's development is now officially over. We've finished 0.13 and now we are moving to our next project. I won't link 0.13 in here, you'll have to look for it yourselves.

Personally the feeling that I got while playing the game is that making Eric a con artist was just to generate an easy way to kick him out, mainly because fighting of his influence over your family until he is out of the house would have been quite a bit of work.

I would have liked more of a war between the MC and him and a bit of negotiating along the way, for example being able to limit him to only your mother by having him in a situation that he feels that your mother may kick him out of the house.

max exploits his family for money, and is willing to sacrifice them for sex, I don't know if he really loves his family, he never demonstrated that for me, all he wishes is to fuck them all, all his actions and interactions points towards that. Of course the same is true for Eric, which is also a con artist

There is some attempts at negotiating from Max, but at those times Eric has him over a barrel.
It's possible to gain back some "territory" from Eric in a couple of ways, 1 blackmail and the other making him temporarily impotent for most of each day he's over at the house.

There is also the "ultimate" tool over Eric later, which safeguards all but Ann/mother from him, and lets you start (unfinished opportunity months before Patreon screwing with DS) to play him at his own game, although it does clash with the latter of the earlier mentioned "control" techniques to use against him.

Not that I could find it....would appreciate, if proven wrong, any hint on how to get there once the Olivia opportunity is done....
