I think it makes sense from the point of view of story telling. But the player does not know this. So I recommend here and in possible future similar occasions, to warn the player, that he/she cannot go back or finish open quest after this passing this point.

Is there any way to speed up some of these ridiculously slow animations? It takes 30 seconds for a girl to stand up or walk up and introduce herself. Kinda silly.

To the creators, be careful with the copyright issues, you use a lot of name's that are subject to copyright, like marvel, dc, and other, make sure you can use them without getting trouble, or change the name for something similar the original one's.
