I started following dwarf fortress development when I was 14. It didn't release until I was 31. Not every long project turns out bad.
I'm not going to disagree. I'm more pointing out how long this is taking. And for it to be taking this long, the improvements with each update should be more substantial.
What's present in Arena is decent. But at this point the devs are like construction workers you hire to build you a house, but they stop at the halfway point because they insist the texture of one random wall must be a certain way before they build the rest of the house.
I've been watching this project since 2018 with a mix of lukewarm interest and long-standing exasperation. I was even subscribed for a few months, but I'm sure most people would think that's just not wise.
excuse me, but could someone please kindly provide the cheat codes for this current version of Bioasshard Arena? i searched all over for the most recent cheats, couldn't find them

Understandable, and to be the honest I'm mostly in the same boat as you. I think they're too focused on things that they should be worried about fixing AFTER they have the core of the game finished. I've also been following this game for about that long and was subscribed for about a year and a half. Will I subscribe again? Probably, but it'll be after arena is finished.

Same with me. supported this, that infamous scheme milfy city and buncha other sht for long time until my account went dry. This game has a huge potential the content creator just has to finish the game, take our money and add the sht we like to the game but instead the fkr just does random other sht and adding sht that 5% of patrons care about to the game.
ngl I was completely astounded when we got that egg tossing level with one update. I was like WTF. Almost a year of waiting for this sht.

Personally I'm ok with them finishing the game before adding more nsfw content. I remember when they were looking for an animator and couldn't find one and they had to do all the animations themselves. That was when there was almost two years between updates and the new game content that was added outside of porn was almost non existent which meant they had made almost zero progress towards finishing Arena. If they can finish up Arena then the quicker they can get back to making animations. I get why people are frustrated on that but for me there's just too many other games out there that I can wait patiently.
Like yesterday. There's no time for porn when I need to play Baldurs Gate 3 for seven hours.

Fair point but let's not forget porn is the main draw of the game or many ppl won't be here. If they're actually making a GAME game I should've cared more but all I see is overused enemies, environments and frustrating unrewarding puzzle system without competitive bosses. Only one boss is that tentacle one which kinda suks.
I also have other games to play and there are more than enough h games out there but that's just irrelevant here.

Oh yeah I'm plenty aware of why people come (pun intended) here. I just don't want people to waste their time or energy getting upset at a project that's essentially dragging their feet on why they're following it on this website.

Nah, that's his User name (quite a funny one, actually). You could'be just looked into the official .txt file: Backspace – Back/Cancel on Menus / Close Pause Menu when on Main section /

This is the sentence where I can understand the devs too. They making something that was asked so much by the community but when they release it the feedback is just this " this is shit, why is this so bad?, this is waht I waited for?". Be a bit more polite with the devs. If they release new animations and people shitting on it then why do they bother making them. They say "We do it when the Arena is ready you doesn't like it anyway".

sorry for being rude but I never I asked for that, I wanted more human animations, Mr.X one for example. I said I personally didn't like that. either way ur take missing the major point of the argument. nice try though. when u pay for something and expect good value u should criticize it more or they keep making mistakes and do whatever the hell they want. I don't have to show courtesy because my wallet already doing it unless I'm extremely impressed by it.
