wait, wait.. you're telling me one of their excuses is that they're working on porting the game from UE4 to UE5? That should be a quick and easy transition though? One of the major selling points of UE5 was that it's quick and easy to convert a project from UE4 to 5. It should take a few minutes, at most. That excuse makes no sense to me.
I've backed dozens of Kickstarters and have yet to back one that later turned out to be a scam ----granted, some I backed in 2021 have still yet to fulfill the pledge 'but' there has been consistent communication and some items have made their way to backers [ie: PDFs, swag, etc]... there's a lot more checks and balances on Kickstarter to [try to] keep people honest.
Epic lying? Who could've ever thought! Regardless, pretty sure it's been longer than the time normally needed to go from UE4 to UE5. So just as a little heads up to anyone... The 3d models, animations, and stuff like that will port over perfectly to UE5 from UE4, it's all the code that breaks, which could take some time regardless; not the however many years this is going to take.

If by advanced you mean: "We added a bunch of pointless bullshit because we want to be an action game, and not an adult game." You only confirm my words about endless dialogues, and this is a pixel RPG game, and Bioasshard is a completely different engine and it is more advanced than most games on similar engines. And I’m not defending the developers of this game, but I’m telling the facts that this game has gone further than anyone else on this engine
The problem with games like this, and this is a problem in general, is that now that engines are "free" to develop on, you have people making things using 95% existing content. There's a reason why one of the modders saw that there's something like 600$ worth of plug ins added. This means that the actual programming work is minimal.
I am not a supporter of developers and I understand perfectly well that they are stupidly pumping out money and at the same time pulling the cat by the balls. But nevertheless, I like this game, it is really better than other games with similar mechanics and content. And there is no need to compare this engine with the engine of this children's pixel RPG.
My guy, you have the reading comprehension of a gnat, not once did I ever say that Future Fragments was good, I've in fact, made fun of it every time I've mentioned it. No one gives a flying fuck about the stupid as shit mechanics you keep praising, like I'm sorry man, you can like it for all you want, you're not going to change the opinions of people here by shilling for it, if I wanted to play good action games, I would go play something like Helldivers 2 or Hunt: Showdown. But no, I don't give a fuck about it being an action game, I just want to see what animations they can come up with, and with maybe a bit of decent gameplay.
