Unfortunately it does not have a skip function. Spamming Return is the fastest you can get.

You have to increase the cheating value (Hearts) in order to continue that event. You can think of it as "chapters" you need to do other events in order to continue that route.

Then how do I at least get back into the castle, everything locked, the count abandoned the mc after being slapped and I literally can't go anywhere

I'm stuck can't find that tourist guy at the arrest poster in the public toilet. I am not getting any new scenes now just had Count henry and that guard where to go next.
