Having the exact same problem; not having lockpicking futhermore means I can't grind chests either for other skills

Why on earth they don't give you the manual associated with the tool you pick is also pretty bad game design...

I had already given the red dress to someone else earlier in the game. So now the only way I can even get another one is to craft it. Which requires me to get an artifice bench to make 20 iron needles but in order to make the artifice bench I need an oil lamp and 5 copper wire each of which is made in the artifice bench... so back to trying to find some randomly through a bag. This really should be improved upon. Leaving necessary items to rng chance is a bit meh... The easiest way to improve this would be to add in a vendor that actually sells the benchs (and not randomly like the only merchant in town)

Otherwise the game is great.

As long as you consistently update it. It's fine. People are gonna have issues with any game in a alpha stage, including me, but what really matters is seeing how the game is going to progress/change/be fixed AFTER the first release. Keep up the good work.

You can learn to climb and get through the window from the vines outfront, though you need athelticism. You can get that from completing the wasp honey question from the goblin on the second floor of the garrison on the eastern part of town. With that said... I still can't find any travelers at all.

Thanks a lot. This makes sense and luckily i already was able to climb the lvl 2 vines.

You can find travelers south of the town or in the forest to the east. It's super random tho, prepare yourself for RNG party.

Catching people to is such a pain in the ass. Where is the spawn for the traveler and thief? I've only found the priest so far.
And does the warrior exist in the game yet? And also does the spawn reset when you load a save or do you have to wait until the next day to play the RNG game?

Btw the priest spawns in one area I can find, right accross the already built bridge in the forest.
EDIT: Bandit spawn in the forest, directly south of the entrance, he can easily be missed because the trees are in the way of where he randomly roams sometimes.

This actually looked really interesting, but i can't map the movement keys to the arrows, and i'm not gonna play WASD movement game...

Might want to consider making it mouse movement or duplicating the movement keys and examine function to the arrows / Enter key.
