Thank you, finally found it! It will be fixed in the next update, for now you can interact with the other side of the Telescope, the other side should work as intended!
It can be crafted with Level 2 Artifice, or found in Artifice Satchels.

To mine stuff you need to have the Talent and coresponding sub talent.
This is the first I heard of my game working on joiplay, most people couldn't even start it on it. Could you provide screenshots of issues you're seeing?
From what I know: equipment, in particular - accessories, achievements (like for killing Terror Bird) or for improving skills to 5th lvl, for example, for improving Black Magic or Charisma to 5 lvl you get +1 Int permanently. There are also potions, but they increase the characteristics temporarily.
Form the screen shot it seems that you don't have the Stone Mining Specialisation, if you had it, it would require 10 VP instead of 11. You will need to learn mining from the Goblin at the Goblin Foundry first, then select Stone mining as a spec. If you already have Mining as a skill, you will need to get 100 Craft Exp and spend it to gain level 1 Stone Mining spec by selecting the stone Mining spec from the Mining Skill book from your inventory first.
If you don't have enough hides for any of the recipes, they wont show up in the list when using the knife or any other processing tool.
Talk to the Goblin Smith, she will remove it for you. You can also disenchant it using the "Remove Curse" scroll but those are really expensive... though if you DO disenchant it instead of having it destroyed by the Blacksmith then you get a pretty decent accessory out of it.
