What!? When was that changed? I haven't checked the preferences for a long time I thought I read that they weren't able to to do that? Thanks for letting me know.
They make it a point to come to a game tagged NTR just to say "I hate it" then leaves.

Okay I got annoyed by this and just figured out how to increase the speed, the map enable dash that rcool left was helpful but you can also use cheat engine to increase speed. I do also recommend downloading the files from rcool just so the speed stays consistent on all the maps.
Do this by finding the process (there are multiple, you need to find the correct one and select the process, NOT APPLICATION. For me it was always the third process):
Then increase speed and apply, this worked for me.

Probably they get drawn in by the hot girl on the cover and then feel scammed when they see the "male protagonist" tag.
