You need kill him in abandoned forest first part. After exiting Holy forest trough north head to right and you should find him near the small lake, kill him and he drops the book.
There is a map folder in the games main folder you can look there to see how to go to Sabbath Forest.

If I remember,jack and the bean is at the forest of abandoned,simply returned to the holy forest then go to the forest of abandoned . . .you won't miss him I promise

The sabbath forest is at the sea of trash(cant remember its true name) . . .simply transfer to the forest of abandoned then go right . . .you should see some sign that dorothy wrote(warning you about the fog) . . .then you should be at the sea of trash then follow the paths . . .you'll be at the forest of sabbath

Hey guys, couple quick questions. So, I finished the vanilla ending, with none of the special conditions fufilled, and I feel like exploring some of the stuff I missed. If anyone could tell me a few things, or if there's a walkthrough that I can't seem to find.


First, Companion stuff
So, I managed to save elma from her mom, but she runs off and I don't see where to?
Where the heck was Gooses chain to unlock her? By the time I went back to her, she was a boss.
I've also never even seen Miranda or Catherine.

Then is there a point to killing the Jabberwocky? The "corpse" that gives you your companions ultimate skills.
Or a point to beating that lust demon back down in the Poison area, i forget its name. Tainted bog?
And is the iron maiden boss the same woman that sells you souls earlier on in the game? Are you not supposed to give her the ring she asked you to find for her?

Okay, Let me compile the current info for the 10 heroines who can become companions.
1. Leaf: Straightforward. Take the path up, once you are in the Holy Forest. Just make sure not to choose kill when you first meet her.
2. Dorothy: Defeat Hansel and Gretel. Then choose to be her Apprentice. She will then task you to hunt 3 monsters, Scarecrow in Forest of Abandoned with 2 static scarecrows, Lion in the warehouse right before Sewers, and Tin Man in Behemoth's Ranch using the path on the right of Holy Forest. Once completed, report back.
3. Goose: You will meet to the top left of the Behemoth's Ranch bonfire. Use a Master key to set her free and she will appear at the Holy Forest as a "Soul Bank". Invest some souls and head to fog 3 , she will leave. You will locate her in the tent on the top right corner of the Sea of Trash. Save before talking to her. Choose not to forgive
4. Victoria: In the house, just before Fort Ivern. Kill the naked king FIRST (Hint: Summoning Leaf will help) and make sure to have a master key as well as at least 5000 souls.
5. Elma: Make sure that the Piper in the sewers is dead before you attempt her quest. Otherwise, she automatically dies. After reaching the Lost Empire bonfire, return to her shop and her mother makes an appearance as a lamia, Quickly kill her and Elma will head straight to Holy Forest. Meet her there to recruit her.
6. Jeanne: Once you have access to the fort, look for her ashes where she died in the prologue. Staying close to the walls will help you avoid the dragon if you don't think you can take it on just yet. Then head to the Skeleton Maze and locate a cave where a non-hostile Shaman will reside. Talk to him and learn you need a Kraken's tentacle, (Or kill the Kraken in the Sea of Trash first also works) and then hand both it and Jeanne's ashes to him to revive her. Make sure not to choose sex slave.
7. Catherine: (Recommend you recruit Jeanne first as she is needed) Locate the stairs that lead to her former bodyguards, once you kill them both, talk to Catherine. Clear out the Cathedral in Graveyard Town Elixir and she will move there. She will move to Holy Forest once you summon Jeanne.
8. Elisabeth: At some point after she arrives in the Holy Forest, Elisabeth will move to where you first meet Leaf. Talk to her to learn about her lost ring. The fairy that has the ring will be in the bottom left section of the area connected to the Sea of Trash. Kill it and bring the ring to Elisabeth. After she moves back to her initial position, save before talking her. (No need is the right answer)
9. Miranda: Have 5 Sin and head to the Tainted Bog. There is a guy in the same area who will sell you Sin (Somewhere in the bottom left). Make sure you are fully prepared for combat. Defeat her. Speak to the man next to Statue that shows how many times you died to remove you Sins. It costs 5000 souls per Sin.
10. Red Hood: At some point, there will be a boat in the river to the left of the Prayer Master. (Perhaps after reaching the Lost Empire bonfire) Beware that there is a boss fight along the way, so prepare accordingly. After killing the watcher, continue on until you reach the house. Find the red hood and talk to her. Watch her go feed her dog. Talk. Leave the house and enter again. You will need 103000 souls, 3000 for her services and 100000 for her to join you. Beware that she will have a choice to speak or ignore Elisabeth (her mother) once you recruit her. Telling her to speak will cause Elisabeth to leave. (Not sure if can be found again.)

Elma should now be in the right section of the Holy Forest near the path into the ranch/
To save Goose you just needed to have a Master Key while talking to her.
There is no point.
There's a path into an endgame location beyond the lust demon.
Elisabeth turns into the iron maiden if you tell Red Hood to talk with her, Elisabeth hates Red Hood more than anything.

Did you kill the pied piper before she ran off?If not,then she will be killed by him. You should be able to see her at the east of the holy forest top side corner before the behemoth ranch

As for Goose,I remember that if she wasn't save earlier at the game,then she'll be turn into a monster(tbh I dont know,save her earlier in the game so I never saw her as a monster.As for the key,you need to find a shape shifting key(you know that right?the key that opens any door but is not permanent)

As for Miranda,she will be at the tainted bog if you only have five sins.The music changes and the screen gets darker when you enter the tainted bog when you have five sins)

As for Catherine. . . .I also never saw her near the hub as the people her said but you'll encounter her at the skeleton maze at the first floor . . .just find a ladder that leads downwards then you should be able to see her and her companions that turned into monsters. . .defeat the monsters then she will be at the cathedral(where you fought the dog).You'll be able to recruit her only if you have Jeanne at your party

For the corpse. . . .never really fought it but I managed to get all the endings without killing him(same case as the white dragon in the secret garden)

For the lust demon . . .beat him and you'll be able to go to the land of subterranean(cant remember its full name).Its the area where the members of the black trial resides. . .the monsters there are strong so be careful.You'll be able to meet Baphomet(finish all her quests and you'll obtain the ending D so prepare for a separate save file)

Lastly,I dont remember encountering the iron maiden . . .I do remember though that when you tell red riding hood to talk to her mother,something bad will happen(so never tried to do it,maybe that was the effect of telling her to talk to her mother)

Ending D,well im confuse too,that question might ba answered at the sequel(we just have to wait for a translation)

Ending C,Mary Sue(the god of that world) kinda tricked you into collecting the books(not so sure).She explained to you that you are the author of the fairy tales and she changed the stories to her liking.After that,she inserted the twisted fairy tales into the world.Making the world kinda a fake one since that's not the original world where the mc lived in

Tbh,not so sure about this since there are many unanswered questions remaining like the diary of Dorothy's disciple at the forest of sabbath

I actually found this on page 12 of this threads. but i guess this is for those who doesnt want to look back

Here is STEP BY STEP WALKTHROUGH to get all ending in one go , make sure you follow it.
I will suggest watching this after you play a bit, since it has some open-world element in it and you might want to explore it yourself first.

Not the most efficient way, but I do get all ending and memory unlock, so here we go ~ !

i did a newgame+, now see them without monster form

Yep. The error says something like unable to find file Audio/SE/japanese. I checked and the file is in the folder, but for some reason it doesn't see it. I've seen things before where it has like an extra space in the file name so I checked with that but it didn't work. I even downloaded the other versions of the game and tried them there, but it doesn't work. Every single time, I play through character creation and then just get stopped before the real game starts.

If you still have the original zipped file, unzip it again but this time either on japanese locale, or using japanese name encoding (winrar has this option, 7zip does not)
