just asking, when i try to open this game on windows 11 it shows a window saying dll initialisation routine failed, and somethig about no service pack. i searched for it and found the service packs are for windows 7?

Does anone have any idea?

Huh did you download the game from this thread right? That sounds like your files are faulty or incomplete. The other thing some japanese games need is to set your windows to japanese region aka trick it into thinking it is.
Or if you are out of luck a error with W11 but that shoulndt be the case normally.

So how the hell one defeats the old king? the guide and people here said that you need to break the shadows so they implode when he tries to use zexcalibur, but 20 clocks later and with all shadows at 1 pixel of life left they still are charging the attack then kill me right after, it's impossible to break them, also tried with the king club's hard break attack + absolute precision spell, its impossible to hit

Increase your luck. Break is also a status effect and if your luck is too low then you can't Break them.

You need to use the break skill for each duplicate. Attacking them is pointless.

Deafeating the boss of an area, Jack in this case, causes Red hood to leave that area.

Probably not? You only need to meet red hood 10 times but there's 13 or so spots you can meet her.

beating this game for the second time makes me realize that the quality of every other game on this site is lacking severely, it pretty much ruined every other game for me for how good BS2 is.

It's a symptom of porn that have gameplay versus games that have porn. Blacksouls is the latter while most other games are the former. You could strip out the porn of blacksouls and still have a chipped diamond. chipped because anyone that misses the choke scenes in 1 and 2 is missing out.. I mean, it even has an option to not show that stuff which to me shows the dev was very confident in their game and they were right. Unfortunately, the former is much easier to make and usually these games are made by artists rather than developers so they end up relying on the art to carry the game rather than the gameplay accompanying the art.
If you want more games that have porn, check the spoiler below. They may or may not have what you think is good about Blacksouls specifically but I think they are decent enough games to stand on their own without relying on making your dick think for you, for whatever my opinion may be worth.

Hey chief. So I was really annoyed that the game was locked at such a low resolution. I knew that Zethin had made a patch to add in resolution scaling but it was for an older version and trying to apply it to this one resulted in text entering reverting to Japanese, some character names not appearing, and crashes in dlc3. Seeing as he seems to have abandoned the project and just for my own sake I spent an hour or so last night learning how to work RPGVXAce to be able to edit scripts to get the best of both worlds. I figured I might as well share it. I'm not a dev but I haven't noticed any bugs or issues with it so far. Thought you might want to check it out and maybe put a link for it at the bottom of main page. Mega

im following the guide right now but the pumpkin npc in the pumpkin house is sleeping is he suposed to ? i dont feel like it should since the guide also tell us we can kill him
