If you have a shitty older computer like me and have problems playing the vns using this new renpy version I know of one trick that doesn't include downloading a bunch of shit and messing with other programs.

Only Windows XP users are fucked by the new RenPy 7.4.x version all other users are fine. RenPy SDK doesn't do anything on your computer, other programs like Steam, Adobe, ASUS software etc. are far more dangerous than RenPy SDK.

If you have the last update delete everything in the game folder. Copy the new updates game folder and then paste it into the last update.

Your "trick" doesn't work for major RenPy updates eg. RenPy 7.3.5 -> RenPy 7.4.x, because since v7.4.0 RenPy bundles scripts files into a file named "scripts.rpa". RenPy v7.3.5 can't read this "scripts.rpa" file - that's the reason why you have to use UnRen first. Afterwards you can backport the game to an older RenPy version that still use software instead hardware renderer.

And not everyone is a hoarder who keeps older versions before downloading a new update.

However, your trick works for games that use the same major RenPy version (v7.4.0 -> v7.4.8).

Fucking sucks devs changing Ren'Py versions mid game but so far that trick works.

Imo it sucks more that users don't know shit about their systems and aren't capable fixing minor problems on their own. Sometimes it might be tricky but there is always a solution.

Again, I'm sorry that keeping my computer, drivers, and software up to date has cause people problems. I'll not stop updating my system or drivers and software. This is like any other software and/or game you play or have. Updates may ask you to have the latest Video drivers just like any other game you play that gets updates. It's not my fault Renpy made the changes they did. I didn't even know that the changes would affect the game so bad and older computers to the point you can't play without upgrading your PC. You can use the steps provided by people in his form to solve the issue.

So backporting should work with any of the newer renpy games? Ive got a Windows 7 operating system after upgrading, the problem is the computer Im using now is an older netbook and the video card can only do software rendering.

I understand some devs won't and can't cater to players like me. I'm thankful there is a few that do. But it's not your responsibility. I lost my cpu and the laptop I have is having issues getting updates so it is what it is.

I also didn't imply that you are a hoarder. Some people have limited storage capacity on their HDDs and don't like to collect different version of the same game on their computer. For those people your workaround won't work and then they would need to search for a game which is compatible to make your workaround work.

1. Download RenPy SDK
2. Download game
2a. If you download the original game (not the compressed version) run Unren first.
3. Store RenPy SDK and the game in a same directory/folder
3a. If you have RenPy SDK and/or the game stored in different folders, set path to the game's directory under "Preferences" in RenPy SDK.
4. Either launch the game through RenPy SDK or port the game to Windows "Build distribution".

UnRen is required because the old RenPy version (7.3.5) can't read "scripts.rpa" and only required for the original version of the game. If you download the compressed version, then you won't need UnRen anymore because the compressor already used it.

It's locked because it's a man sucking cock and taking it in the ass. Which is pretty much Gay. If any scene contains either one of those, then the Futa will be locked behind the gay bypass. If it's a male doing the Futa in the pussy or ass and the futa is the one sucking cock, then it will only be hidden behind the Futa bypass. I hope this clears that up for you.

Great game, Dev! Only a few minor criticisms and concerns. Your writing was very good in the beginning and then the attention to detail fell off. "Y'all" (the correct spelling of the contraction, 'you all') as found in the Southern states, became "yawl" for some reason. "You're" and "Your" started getting swapped which is really jarring. "You're" = "you are" and "Your" = possession. "Yeah" became "ya" which makes the MC sound Swedish/Norwegian or from Minnesota in my head, "Ya sure, yooo betcha." Minor grammatical errors aside, the story is well done. I would have liked an option of what to do with the narcotics, as I thought the MC was going a different route with regards to the gang.

Renders. Herein lies my biggest issue. The old ladies do not look like they have taken care of themselves AT ALL. If you're going to have women over the age of 50, then hit us with the Jennifer Lopez (52), Helen Mirren (76), Salma Hayek (54), Elizabeth Hurley (56), Catherine Zeta-Jones (51), Teri Hatcher (56), Vanna White (64), Katie Couric (64), Kathy Ireland (58), women that have worked hard to maintain their figures or were just naturally blessed to keep their looks longer than normal. The occasional dumpy, old lady is not an issue, there are a lot of them, after all, but this is a porn game, reality kind of flew out the window a long time ago.

All in all, an amazing game despite the minor issues listed above.
