Woof, that's a lot to deal with. Good on you for keeping going, not sure anyone sane would have blamed you had you just called it quits at all of that. I've loved what I've played so far, and look forward to as much more as you will give us.Thank you.
Yes, the game was never off the menu, I just ran into a lot of issues, from 2 computer crashes, to losing my coder, but things are back on track, and while things are still slow going, they are going. He is trying to fix the bigger bugs right now, so we can at least post the beta to the supporters soon. *fingers crossed*.
I wrote this with the story first, and the sex stuff last. In fact, that is the one part of this not really planned out ahead of time, I wanted to leave room for what my improving skills allow and what the fans request.
It's still not too late to make those requests for ch2.

While I appreciate f95 doing the abandoned tag overall, I do hate how it hits (and hurts) projects like this where there's work being done, but its being done according to a plan that is benchmark based more than time based, and/or where there have been "welp, RL sucks" setbacks. I think at this point I'm more likely to look for a discord the dev of a game I like is active in (or their own discord) to track if a game is still being worked, vs trusting the tag.
I wonder if f95 has considered adding a "setback" tag that devs could ask be put on a project--if something major and unpredictable happens that won't kill a project but would 100% be reason for it to have a delay, give a X month delay to the abandoned tag being applied. (3? 4? 6?) Have a dev note in the first post explaining in broad strokes what happened and expected recovery time to get back on track. Can't do it more than once every year or two maybe.
