Generally agree the majority of the games it dos not really matter ... to me its more about not bowing to the censors really ....


But there are some where the game would suffer from such a change in my opinion ... MR Dots Dating My Daughter is one such game and I was glad that the creator decided that even if it means the development will be slower he will not change the game ... and with him getting a subscribe star page for the game I hope it will pick up somewhat again ... even while he still works on the Patreon allowed game Melody....

It was why I suggested SubscribeStar to Dr B ... but ultimately the decision is on him.

So the game's dead for sure. As soon as the devs start to re-work on their games to fit the guidelines of Patreon it's dead. Just look at Summertime Saga for example.

Like ol bones said, all of this is just a slight delay till it gets back on track. Those of us that support you don't mind waiting as we know you'll bring the good stuff

I really hope he dosen't remove beast stuff or stops working on it, it's an awesome game, but it was also one of those things that made this game stand out and we don't have many quality western beasty games. I'm fine if it needs patched in, hell, I don't care if he removes all the sexual stuff and then makes a porn patch you get elsewhere like here or something, like with steam (or how it used to be, I'm not sure how it works anymore). It might also be easier tbh. Make a complete sanitized version where whenever you trigger a sex scene it pops up and says like "Go to here to get the patch, sorry but due to patreons rules and bla bla bla" Then you just need to change the triggers (If I remember RPGmaker correctly) and remove some files and then renaming but that's only once. I mean it dosen't have to be exactly like that, but this way it's not a seperate game, more of a hollowed out one. The point is the full experience no? Just spitballing, in any case, yeah, probably a good idea to work on something else for awhile, use some ideas that don't work in this one, but you still really like and get some creative "fresh air" or whatever.

Better yet whenever a sex scene is to be triggered in the sanitized version ... Slenderman walks in from offscreen with the Patreon logo covering his head and loudly coughs while standing there watching the MC and the character he was about to do it with... and just stands there watching until the MC breaks it off with the other char and leaves the room XD ...Make all the players hate Patreon too... get em to send them the hate mail for ruining their boners without actually doing anything to directly support such behavior.

Subsribestar seems to be the new hotness and honestly, I agree, it seems like a good option. However the fact is, he probs won't get 100% of his following, people like what they are used to and even if it's a lot less likely this will happen on Suscribestar this is the fear I imagine Bones might have, regarding making the switch. Then again, if they ain't willing to play ball, he might as well.

Way better to continue to subscribe to another platform and wont change his game then change. He start with nothing and many will come to suscribestar but others wont. but with time he will grow and people will follow the train
