Know what I just realized? In the time it took to get to v0.15.2 from v.0.01, 95% of the indie game Dusk was developed and coded by a single guy with only some self-taught experience who had never once made textures, which went on to sell over 70k copies within a 3 months. Just a fun observation on what can be done in a little over 2 years coded from scratch in a much more complex engine and wheelhouse. Now just for fun compare that to an unspecified RPGM porn game that gets $1k+/month that's 'developed' in a place with presumably much lower COL than coastal US and would presumably take a fraction of the effort to develop and partially animate for.

But what do I know, eh? Alright, my wiseass paragraph is done. I'll see you all in the space of the next update that gets another 5-8 month delay

for one CoL isn't the only factor of game developing, and just because someone does it better/faster doesn't mean everyone else can do the same. stop forcing expectations on people. bones is recoding and redoing art because the original stuff was all made when he had little/no experience.
also-dusk began concept creation in mid 2000s. it also took 3 years to finish from 2015 and this is a 3d game, so after the initial assests were made it was just coding from there. no cutscenes or anything like that were needed as opposed to hand-drawing each scene. and just because it was unity based doesn't mean it was a more "complex engine and wheelhouse." c++ vs ruby(essentially python), so other than working out kinks of a real time game, there shouldn't have been much work after the making assests. and most likely all the problems that came up in the code were in forums and with solutions/people who helped fix it. so in comparison:
Dusk-learned how to make assests and code
The Manor- learned how to draw and code
not much difference, except art needs to be continuously made instead of using a doll over and over again.

P.S. are you even a subbed to him? or do you just complain when the release doesn't happen when you want it? cause most people who sub to these projects know what they're getting into and also have full freedom to unsub whenever they want to.

But who am i to talk? My reply to your strawman is done, i'll see you when you come back download the update for free.

Dr.bones does his art true on that but he does 0 coding (when i mean coding is really writting code), so he has only script to do which he doesnt require to know the commands, puglins bring those scripts attach already explaining how it works and other scripts (no puglin) he went online to get them and again explains how it works, so basicly his job is doing copy and paste and see if its working, so please dont say he does coding, cause i can show u a game that required coding and doesnt look so basic has Doc's game, the only thing he really has to work hard is doing the animation since he does layer-by-layer movement animations which can cause bugs on the game and we have seen them.

Yo, I wake up this morning and go check my games for some revisiting sake. Little do I know that my AV or support assist has deemed that the game files were either "unnecessary" or "unsafe" so it just goes ahead and willy-nilly decides "Oho not on my watch scoundrel! To the trash you go where you belong!" and freaking deletes some of my games. I just hate my life sometimes...
